Hi Melonie, got another question.  

Are you aware of the status of strings in Mexico, and if so, whether there are any places worth considering?

I recently read a rather interesting story of one chap who went to Mexico to get some rather expensive dental work done.  He did his homework, and came out of it a very happy camper.  Granted, breasts aren't the same as teeth, especially when you compare dental work (fairly common) with huge breast implants (relatively uncommon).  Here's the article, if you're curious:

I'm sure that a surgical junket to Mexico is rife with medical risks, but surely there are the surgeons who are the cream of the crop there...?

Seriously, as soon as ANYONE here finds out about ANYONE doing string implants, it will be all over the board.

A better question would be "Where can I find the best surgeon for BA in Mexico or South America"?

Sorry to contradict you but, No, it won't!!

I will guarantee you that someone in North America has had PPP implants done since the 'ban' was imposed.  Additionally, at least one Cosmetic Surgeon has been performing this practice since then.  Additionally, all involved are sworn to secrecy and have signed legal documents protecting the surgeon involved.

No one would say anything because this is happening in North America and both the FDA and Health Canada would jump on anyone within their respective borders who operates without mayor $$$$ contributions to political parties.

If someone found out, I'm pretty sure they WOULD tell actually. The odds of the FDA coming here to find about string implants are slim to none. And the opportunity to find someone who would perform the job and not sharing that would just be devastating!

Silly question, but... if these women are swearing to secrecy, then... how did THEY find out about it?  Obviously someone's letting the cat out of the bag.

Which brings me back to my original question, sorta.  On reading this msg, my fiancee basically said, "Sure, I'll swear to secrecy.  Teach me the secret handshake!"  Yup, we're still keen, and hearing tidbits like this makes us somewhat more hopeful, if not any closer to actually knowing someone who will do the work.  *sigh*

FWIW, it's always possible to find a surgeon who will perform an illegal procedure.  How do you think that abortions were done before Roe/v/Wade?  However, there are things to be aware of.  For the surgeon, your patients can sign as many things as you want and you won't be protected.  It's as if someone signed a paper saying that you could shoot them in the head, the DA ain't gonna care and your license will be yanked if discovered.  It also means that any form of health insurance won't cover complications that don't immediately result in the removal of the implants, because an illegal procedure voids most coverage.  Further, if there are things even as simple as removing fluid most doctors won't touch you because, if they're done post-ban, they become liable for malpractice by treating you.  Finally, if you happen to get an incompetent surgeon, you won't be able to sue him without a lot of difficulty, because you knowingly engaged in an illegal medical procedure.

Jess...a more realistic approach might be....start with 800 cc bags (easily available)...over fill them to 9-950....with what your starting out with...your boobs will be HUGE....them maybe by the time they settle in....you will have other options to increase should you ever want to....they will look alot better if you increase in small incriments.
