there are some windows media player files here, which look pretty nice, but i can't view them because i'm using a macintosh and i apparently need something called ... i can't remember. something version 7. i have the latest media player, it's something else. if anyone can convert these, or get some screen captures or gifs, that would be fantastic. hope it's not too much to ask.

I tried to views these. They are windows media files and
when I try to play them, windows media player has a screen
that pops up in japanese from the website asking for a
password. I tried by saving them locally initially, but
streaming also asks for a password. Stupid microsoft crap,
I naturally do a save link-as for wmv because even with
the cable modem they play choppy. Waste of my time to
download a big file from japan only to find it worthless.
(I am blaming MS and the way the web site is set up.)

Try right clicking and saving the 500Kbps one and NOT the higher speed ones. I donwloaded no problem.

Diziam i did a babelfish and Understand that you have to pay 500 yen to be able to view the movies for 5 days.
