FYI - Problem is that finding the perfect slim and busty or normal sized is sometimes difficult. You might try surfing some of the BBW dating sites (that is if your into that). Because I have found the bigger woman tend to be alot more busty. But not always. Also, if the term BBW scares you - you need to be discrimating - women range in sizes 12 to infinity it seems. But in some case you might just find the definition of a very busty and voluptuous women who really loves being that way. I have dated a few and you wouldnt believe the breasts on some of these women.

(raises thread from the dead, looking for all the world like Dr. Orpheus sans the cape)

I've never used any online personals or dating sites. Real-life (mostly female) friends of mine have, usually with mixed results.

I have used email/etc... to stay in touch with women I was involved with at the time. But I didn't meet them online... they were RL girlfriends and gal pals (girl friends, not girlfriends). In the case of GFs (from whom I've sometimes been separated by thousands of miles due to work overseas) email/Skype were useful in maintaining the relationship... email especially if there was a big time difference involved.

Over the past 15+ years, I've become interested in a few women I've met here... but I could count the number of those I actually felt an emotional connection with on the fingers of one hand ...that's a small number given all the hours I've spent here since the 90s :P ;). Of that very modest group, one invited herself to come visit me (but I declined when I learned she wasn't quite 18 yet), another woman I invited to visit me but she demurred, saying that she didn't have a passport (I didn't press the issue... I later learned that she was probably underag3 at the time too) and a third woman (older than me for a change ;)) did make plans to meet w/me locally in RL but as the date drew closer I got the strong impression that she was looking for something I couldn't provide, so I begged off as politely as I could (she still spoke to me after, so I guess I didn't offend her too much).

I know there are a handful of BEA Forum couples who met here, but they're the exception, not the rule. Short of a full court press via some mainstream/commercial dating site, based on my experience, the best way to meet someone still tends to be work, school or mutual friends. At least, those are the three ways in which I met women I became involved with.

Which is not to say that I wouldn't try again with someone I met online... if I was sufficiently interested in them and thought there was a chance that something might come of it in spite of the odds. Life's short, and if you meet someone you really like, it seems foolish not to avail yourself of the opportunity to get to know them better.

No, not really. I'm fully aware that to some, hanging around here for a decade and a half+ would seem a poor choice, not something to be proud of. I was just relating my experiences re: the original post, such as they were.
