Breasts implants were not invented until the late 1960's. Before that, they used to inject silicone into the breasts like Carol Doda had done back in the 1960's. Back in the 1950's, nature had to give you big boobs.

Of course views have been affected by what has happened since the 1950s. Also, for some reason Hollywood does not like truly busty women. Beshine for sure is an extreme outlier, but have there ever been any successful mainstream actresses with figures similar to say Milena Velba or Nancy Quill? Or maybe I'm mistaken in thinking that those ladies would be palatable for the mainstream.


No implants in the 50s, but that does not mean that other ways to expand bustlines were not tried...
