Yes, this was for this year.  My wife and I get a hotel room down in the quarter, usually at the Royal Sonesta, for Friday night through Wednesday morning so we don't have to drive back and forth over the causeway (24 mile long bridge!)and gives us access to a bathroom during all the maddness that Mardi Gras is.  This was the best Mardi Gras in years and fun was had by all...
