Veggie BE???
« on: February 22, 2004, 01:10:00 AM »
I had been doing some research into herbal remedies, searching for PMS relief for my wife (and thus myself), and I discovered that fenugreek seed is loaded with phyto-estrogens and other good stuff beneficial to female health. It is not only good for reducing the miseries of PMS but it is a libido enhancer, and had been used for centuries by harem girls to enlarge their breasts. The nutritional benefit of the seeds is even greater if they are sprouted for a few days, increasing their potency by several times.
Of course I had to put this to the test and bought some seeds at the local health food store and sprouted them. I fed a fair portion of them to my wife in a salad, not telling her of their particular benefits. I am totally not exaggerating when I say that that same evening, my wife, of her own free will, initiated activities in the bedroom that she had not had an interest in since our honeymoon. When I told her what I had done, she surprisingly was quite interested in making the fenugreek a regular part of her diet. It has been six weeks since, and life has been good, no PMS, a light period, and she's horny as hell. So far so good. Except for one thing, I never told her about the BE side effect. I'm waiting for her to notice anything. But I have noticed. Her breasts swelled a bit more than usual with her last period, and they have seemingly not diminished since, and her next period is due in another week. I am hopefully curious if there will be further enlargement. So far I am believing that fenugreek is a miracle herb. But even if the BE aspect doesn't pan out, the other benefits make it all worthwhile.
I would like to encourage others to try this with their wives/girlfriends and see if they have similar results. My wife takes 4 fenugreek capsules a day now, and eats a portion of fenugreek sprouts 3 or 4 times a week. The investment so far has been less than $15. It's well worth a try.
One additional note: Fenugreek is also used to make artificial maple flavoring so dont be surprised when your girlfriend begins to have a maple scent about her. I find it quite appealing.
Good luck. I hope to hear positive feedback from people.

Wow!  That sounds very promising!  Please keep us informed on the further results.  I would certainly like to know more about it.

I've done a little searching on fenugreek and I found some information that claimed fenugreek increases milk production in women (in addition to the other effects).  That's a good sign at least.

I've also found some information that suggests phyto-estrogens may reduce the risk of developing certain cancers (including breast cancer) and that it may slow the growth of cancer cells.  Good news!

Four month follow up:
My wife quit taking the fenugreek at three months. She grew weary of taking the 12-16 capsules every day and it seemed that the libido enhancing aspects had waned a bit.
But even since she quit, her breasts still seem to have increased in size even more. She doesn't quite need a larger bra just yet but her J-cup bra has filled out quite nicely. I am thinking that a long uninterrupted course of treatment may not give the best results. I think a regimen of three weeks on, one week off might be a good way to go (similar to the taking of birth control pills).
In my opinion I would say that this experiment was a complete success. I believe that the fenugreek really does encourage healthy breast enlargement. Her breasts really are noticeably fuller and firmer than they were a few months ago and have not diminished at all.
If anyone else wants to try this I suggest taking 6-8 capsules twice a day for 3 weeks, and a week off during your period. Do this for at least 3 or 4 months to ensure permanent results.
Good luck and please let us know if anyone has any similar experiences.

Hello, Chimerian.  My sister tried fenugreek after she had her [censored] and she reported "regaining" much of her breast vollume that she had lost after breast-feeding.  That would seem to support your theory.  She tried it on the recommendation of a fried who "claimed" to have gained a whole cup size.  Too bad this stuff is more art than science....

JuggyLove.  I LOVE that aminated avitar of yours.  Any chance of finding more where that came from?

Has anyone tried fennel in place of fenugreek?  I've read that it is supposed to be a suitable substitute for BE purposes, but I am looking for some hard evidence that anoy of this works at all.  My gf is becoming mildly interested in BE and might try an herbal regimen if it is possible it would work.  In case you are intersted, she is not even on the size chart in this community and wouldn't get a second if even a first look probably from most of the dudes here.  She is very petite, doesn't weigh much and is a little short.  She also has a small bust.  She is however a very beutiful women and I love he very much.  I am a boob guy, no doubt about that, but not necessarily a big boob lover.  I just like them all, and hers are great if you ask me.  Some of you might say too small, but I don;t believe in "too small".  She knows I might like them more if they were bigger and she admits she sure would, so she started to consider BE, but not surgery, and I won't push for that anyway.  That is a drastic step if you ask me.  I have done quite a bit of reasearch and will do more, but we might put her on an herbal regimen.  The herbs I'm looking into are fenugreek and fennel mainly, and also saw palmetto and wild yam.  If you look these are also all common ingredients in expensive bust enhancing pills.

But anyways my main question was doesn't anyone have any hard evidence of fenugreek working (or anything else) and particularly on women who are not already big.  And if so has anyone seen and results out of fennel in place of fenugreek.

And yes this is a delurking post for me, I have been here off and on for a couple years now, but never had much to contribute.

Why would you use fennel instead of fenugreek? Both are available and cheap. Why not get both?

I can get fenugreek for 4$ a bottle for a girl I'm helping out.

Hi Blue, Nice to meet you.  You might want to check out my responses to Dochuge in "Herbal Supplements: BS?"  (I am new to computers/forums so I don't know how to copy & paste my response here)  In my replies I include other estrogenic herbs and information about why using fenugreek is not warranted for some.  Being petit your girlfriend may have a more difficult time of it but it could work if she is patient.
Two other things I neglected to included for those ladies concerned about the risk of stroke with Birth Control, Ginkgo Biloba is a fantastic anti-coagulant and helps improve circulation, which could be helpful.  And you might want to check your girlfriends thyroid function by taking a waking basal body temperature for a few mornings. Gotta use a basal body thermometer for that, not a fever type.  Consistent waking temps below 97.6 signal impeded thyroid function. To support thyroid function the amino acid L-Tyrosine is very helpful.  Start with smallest doses possible.  Good thyroid gland function is needed for growing breasts.

MrHHH, the reason I would substitute fennel for fenugreek is just as AspiringDD mention, fenugreek is not for everybody, some people may not respond well to it.  Other than that I agree on getting both, however in my town at the GNC, fennel is about half the price of fenugreek.  The price of fenugreek is about $13+ for 90 capsules, which sounds expensive to me.  Where, other than a GNC or a vitamin store, could I find these herbs?  But in any case I would still like to see any evidence anyone has of these herbs actually working.  And how exactly they used them.  Thanks!

Hi Blue - try this internet site http://www.greenbush.net/hargirbrease.html  they are very reputable.  Cheaper is not always better when it comes to herbs.  Check out their testimonials.  Don't forget to cycle herbal use: three months on and one month off. I fyou overload the estrogen receptor site you just end up wasting $ and product.  Think of herbs as medicine, not for constant use.

So you're not getting it because she might have a problem with it?
 4 dollar fenugreek

It's the internet. It's very easy to get stuff for cheap and tax free.

MrHHH, I am not trying to contradict you just give some additional information for those who are new to herbs and their uses, K?   Fenugreek can be very dangerous for anyone who is hypoglycemic.  Even in small amounts it can trigger a hypoglyecmic episode, and if you are a borderline hypoglycemic and don't know it Fenugreek can trigger a first episode.  In the case of hypoglycemia, Fennel or one of the other estrogenic herbs is a great substitute.  Just trying to be helpful.
