She is the  seiyuu <voice artist> for Chiharu and you can find her profile on the Staff & Cast  for Eiken at Starchild's site.

.......i was hoping a good 2 month post would get SOME info on the 2nd ep, or atleast the manga....)

The first notice I spotted anywhere on a release date for the second half of the OVA came from the Eikenist site and was only announced in Shonen Weekly Champion about two weeks ago.  (Apparently there was some concern as to whether the production company was even going to be around much longer...)

Videos are decoded wierd these days.  The movie player just displays a black (or green, in some cases) box, and the video card replaces it with the decoded movie, making it difficult to catch a still.  If you're really bored, the video will show through on the screenshot if you leave it paused/playing.

Anyway, if you're using an ATI video card, try running the video through the included software.  It actually has a feature to catch stills.  If the video will open through QuickTime (and you have the Stills component installed, DivX/XviD videos will NOT open), that also works pretty well.  Jasc's Animation Shop (talk about obscure) is able to import AVIs as well.

And yeah, the VirtualDub method works.

Altavista babelfish works fairly well, although inaccurately depending on the language.

Just input a link, and choose Japanese to English from the pull down menu below that.

I find that Babelfish tends to work passably well on Romance languages (if you're a basically tolerant person), less so on other Indo-European languages, and horribly on everything else.  It makes mistakes in parsing Japanese that a student with one semester under their belt wouldn't make.  From some of the translations I've run or seen, you're lucky if it gets 25% of the passage right (and sometimes gives results more mystifying than the original Japanese).

...and Kirika (seen on one of the other threads) is supposed to be a "G".

It's been the case for about the last ten years or so in many anime and manga that there is a fair (or greater) amount of visual exaggeration relative to the cup size the character supposedly possesses...

The Starchild site seems to be saying that they had selected a gravure idol to play Chiharu.  Her full name is Ooshiro Miwa.  I managed to locate a gallery for you.
