But getting back to reality... After a little dalliance with deviance, I always post an apology photo of the REAL Laura, in all her loveliness.  I wonder what it was the photographer said to her that drew that killer smile.

My choice for #2 of LSG's Top Ten Tops on JSM! is from season 5, episode titled "Dog Day Afternoon," first aired on NBC on February 1, 2001, just over 25 years ago.  For those too young to remember, trust me; we were NOT seeing natural knockers like these filling the screens of network TV anywhere else! And as much as I have criticized the show for too often covering up or under-using Laura's twin talents, they were obviously aware of what would keep the male portion of their viewers watching, because they ran this episode (and a couple others when LSG's sweater stuffers were well-displayed) during a Nielsen ratings week. Definitely no coincidence.

After looking over the pics I included above, I realized it was hard to find looks of LSG in the above episode where she wasn't slouched over. Maybe that extra-snug sweater had the psychological effect of making her feel like her rack was extra-heavy. In any case, here are a couple more, the first where it looks like she's worn out from toting all that boobage, then one where she seems to be struggling to rise with all that whopper-weight.

Finally, here's my choice for #1 of LSG's Top Ten Tops on JSM!  It's from season 4, titled "An Axe to Grind," and I've been grinding my axe for Laura ever since. There were many contenders, obviously, but I had to go with this one because it's the episode where she bounced right into my life and my obsession was born.  The date was November 23, 1999 - 26 years and 5 months from today - and my TV was tuned to NBC and suddenly, as we used to say... "Va-Va-Va-VOOM!" Just Shoot Me! had been on the air for 3 years and I'd seen it occasionally, but I often worked night shifts, and while I'd already noted that Laura was drop-dead gorgeous and that she had a better than average rack, I was far from a die-hard fan.  From 11/23/99 onward, I started setting the old VCR (remember? ) until I had every episode recorded, from reruns and when they started to air in syndication.  I was hooked and haven't ever been able to unhook. Not that I've tried.

Laura had just turned 37 when that episode aired (probably 36 when it was filmed) and she had been on TV since '87 and in movies ("Sex, Lies, and Videotape," the first) since '89, so she was not some young starlet flaunting her Double-D's to get the attention of directors and producers. And she was certainly not regarded as a Pam Anderson type boob-queen. But all that changed when she blossomed into MILF-hood in '96, when her rack gloriously expanded, never to recede, for which guys like me are eternally grateful.   

Followers of this thread will know that shots from this episode have been posted before, so I tried to find some (the top 2 pics) I don't think have been shown. Enjoy!

I did! I remember you mentioning that top before (and the black sweater she wears in the first half of the epsiode is outstanding as well!).

For some honorable mentions, there are a few blue tops she wears in the final season that stand out, especially the light blue turtleneck sweater in My Fair Finchy.
