To be honest, I think this is one of the best places to discuss implant surgery. There are numerous women here who have already gone through the same procedure/s, and much of what you'll find here will be the same as that on a plastic surgery web board - advice from people who've already had surgery. I feel that far more women would have experience with larger implants on *this* board than on a generic surgery board, and have already proven to be willing to discuss details of their procedures with other like-minded women.

Please pass on my hopes for a safe and successful surgery to the "new recruit"

I'm part of this forum too, & I've seen the trouble that the "Negative" posters have brought here.

& it's true, these negative guys have made MANY big bust models think twice about postin' their pix, & participatin’ here. (to our great, great loss)

...& between me and the 100 beautiful dancers that I've known down through the years, We’ve heard plenty (PLENTY!) of the most hurtful, down-right gross, non-respectful statements that you can imagine. (98% of the guys are total gentlemen)

I've had the bad luck to pick-up a constant stream of gross-out, web-site e-mailers too. Allot of guys have been really deeply hurt by women in their past, & some of 'em think it was ME! (They get zero attention from me.)

Vixen is absolutely correct - the information she has made available is either unknown or 'buried' by 99.9% of US  plastic surgeons, and is certainly unknown by 99.999% of girls on "housewife" implant sites.

The simple fact is that there are 150,000+ breast augmentations done in the USA every year.  Of this 150,000, at the absolute most 30 of them will involve NON US made NON FDA approved custom made large size implants.  So what does that amount to ... 0.02% ?  Of these 30 custom breast implant surgeries, there are probably a total of at most 10 plastic surgeons in the entire USA who are involved in doing them versus 10,000 other plastic surgeons who have never touched an implant bigger than 800cc.

As Vixen stated previously, is there a point to be made here ? Undoubtedly the point is that it's extremely probable that every woman posting on a "housewife" implant site will know absolutely nothing about implants bigger than 800cc.  It's also extremely probable that a girl could go to 100 consultations with different plastic surgeons without running into one single doctor who has knowledge or experience with implants over 800cc.  There is also the medical-political issue of ASPRS membership, with its list of approved procedures that member surgeons will perform (and non FDA approved foreign made huge implants are definitely NOT on the ASPRS list, effectively meaning that to a strict ASPRS doctor they don't exist even if he knows that they do exist !).

On the other hand, at BEA there are at least 4 or 5 girls who regularly post here who have experience with custom made large implants and with the tiny handful of plastic surgeons who work with them, and who are willing to share that knowledge and experience.  In my own case, I also have a degree in respiratory therapy (which involved many college courses in the areas of A&P, pharm, surgical procedures etc.) and several years of experience working in hospital ER's and surgical floors, which certainly doesn't make me a plastic surgeon but probably does leave me a notch above your average housewife in the breast augmentation advice column.
