Depends where you live right now. Our March has been very good ( a few days ago it was 78 ) but last night it was 43, raining and windy. The beginning of Spring will be cooler than the late February, early March weather we had here .  So it will go out like a lion.

Not true. In 1987 the tax reform which Senator Bill Bradley ( D-NJ ) helped pass lowered the bracket to 28%. In 1990, in a act of political suicide, G.W. Bush ( no new taxes ) went along with the Democrats and raised the top rate to 33% in exchange for budget cuts and elimination of federal programs which the Democrats never allowed or followed through.

It was passed in 1986, and it wasn't the lowest effective rate; it pegged the capital gains rate at 20%.

I was talking Income tax rates. Capital gains were lowered in 2002 to 15%. The law passed in 1986 but did not become effective until 1987. I guess we forgot all about tacos or enchiladas.
