I uploaded it and it does not work me neither. Some gifs just fail to work properly. Therefore I found a webm snippet containing said scene. Has a better data compression ratio as well.

Neither of those files play for me in QuickTime Player. I tried playing both of them in VLC and they were completely artifacted and the videos were unwatchable. A re-upload, please? Because this is one of the greatest Anya clips of all time.
Most likely your player is older and does not support more modern formats and compressions. I humbly suggest you download the MPC media player which is IMHO currently the best free player and can handle all known media formats: https://mpc-hc.org/
