Hi!  This reply is only on the thread and not to anyone in particular.  First, I'd like to say I am happy to finally be on the Forum after trying to login for more than a year.  I'm not sure what the hang up was...anyhow, on to the subject matter.

This is an interesting point. Personally, I think it's a combination of things for many models - but for the "I don't do hardcore ever" girls, I think it's one of a few things.

Firstly, it's almost certainly money that makes girls make the jump. Good-looking big-tit stars are often offered huge sums of cash to do guy-girl hardcore, and it's probably very tempting. SaRenna Lee said once that she could probably have retired on the money from a few hardcore movies, but she simply wasn't interested.

Secondly, it's possibly about raising their profile. Hardcore sells. As people like Melonie Charm will no doubt testify, it's hard work making a living from dancing, mag layouts and softcore videos - and, like any other industry, there's a "top 10" that can be difficult to break into, for all manner of reasons. Hardcore can help raise a model's profile, or push them into the mainstream (remember that BE is a specialist interest with a relatively low audience).

Lastly, I think some girls are just plain curious about it.
