BustArtist: small update!

A few items were added to my Gallery. Though only a "few", you may consider them minor -- or major. Depending on your point of view.

FREE and MEMBERS:
• 3 new mini-previews of pages 14, 15, and 16 of my BE comic are now up. Go to the "Specials" section, then look under "Grow"

The "Opening Movie" to NaviGirl-4 is up. It is an almost 2 minute long Flash animation with music, sound, and action. This movie was going to be the introduction to the new gallery hosted by Kat (NG4).

To everyone else:

I've uploaded some more previews of my BE comic, "grOw" as well as a nearly 2 minute Flash movie of NaviGirl 4 for members, and have hardly heard a thing.

I know we are not all good at writing letters, or have the time. I do not always get to thank those who have contributed, myself.

BA, if you think nobody's looking at your updates, you don't read this board enough.

Yours is simply one of the most recognizable names in this 'BE Union', and I've never heard anyone say they didn't like your work. A lot of the people that hang around here do so because of your work, and that's no small thing.

The reason you don't get as much feedback as you'd like might be that since everyone knows your stuff (and likes it) they may think that you know just how good it is, so why bother saying anything?

From me, personally: I can't wait to see teh full-size grOw. And my only comment about the NaviGirl trailer (besides thanks for making it) is it might look better if you used less of Flash's 'tweening' ability. IMHO, the best Flash stuff on the web (like CampChaos's stuff) is primarily very limited animation that's all hand-keyed. For BE, you'd probably want to use some tweening, but the rest of it I'd just go with the standard 'do all the keys and a few inbetweens yourself' approach. But that's just the animator in me talking.

To second what Warlock said, I think you're the most commonly listed "favorite artist" in forum posts. And by far and away most commonly listed source of people getting addicted to BE and realizing that there's a whole community like them. Do a search (if you have the time one evening) in some of the threads about "how long have you been here" and "how did you find the BEA" and things like that. You're mentioned over and over and over in those. About as often as everyone else combined in some threads.

BA, I just checked out your latest update (I probably would have sooner, but I've been off-line for about a week in order to move into the condo I recently bought.) The new NaviGirl trailer is simply awesome, and the new comic previews are a nice tease. I'm eagerly awaiting for the day when "Grow" is made ready for purchase.

Don't know if I've said it before, but I've been a fan of your work for quite some time. Your drawings were one of the main reasons why I joined the BEA.

Damn, was that fine!Y'know, BA, your stuff works its magic for me whatever you do, I swear. That NaviGirl opening rocked! I especially liked the car chase - mainly for its sheer incongruity in BE, but also for the way the theme music suddenly came to my attention...And I, like so many many others, am waiting anxiously and patiently to buy grOw when you're ready.
