but it's too creepy! to come out of nowhere and just say "nice shirt" to a girl that sexy and stacked... :P

Okay.

When I was 20 I wasn't quite that shy, but I think I know how you feel.

Keep this always in mind: SHE WANTS TO TALK TO YOU!!

I would:

1) Look for her.

2) When you find her be prepared to say, "Hello. How are you?"

3) In order to prepare, practice.

4) Believe me, unless you have spinach in your teeth or a terrible case of body odor, the ditance from here to "Hello. How are you" is much, much greater than the distance from "Hello. How are you" to "Did you bring a condom?"

Really. She wants to talk to you. Please don't disappoint her.

Besides, every day you delay is another day for me to find her and get into her pants!
Someday, chi1dren, this entire fuck-up will be yours.

that's totally true.

okay, so if she's alone and not seeming to be in a hurry, i'll find some way to introduce myself. it's just a bit crazy, i find it hard to believe someone like her would actually be interested me... she could get anyone she wanted even if she were flast as a board, but those huge boobs only make her seem less attainable...

Yes. You'll have plenty of opportunities to disappoint her once you know each other better.

it's just it's a lot harder to approach someone like that on the street, out in public... at a gig it's a lot easier, everyone just kind of talks to whoever's near them... perhaps if i see her in the record store again, as i quite frequently do...

Exactly, just say a quick hello the first time around and then take it from there...make a quick mental note of the bands that are on her t-shirts, who's playing in town etc. and use that to strike up conversation if you bump into her again...you will never know unless you try. I am a firm believer of trying just to find out, considering it worked for me lol.

Lol, you're not the only one with a little bit of over shyness... Just go for it, and try to be friends, the rest goes by itself.

And yes, I know I'm saying this now, and probably need people to say it to me the next time... It's just easier to say when it's about someone else.

Good luck!

one of the best threads I´ve ever read! very nice and dynamic in the beginning, peaking with mammeister´s brilliant "the worst thing she could say is YES!". brilliant, I had a good laugh here.

the only thing I´d say is:
I´d wait how she behaves the second time you meet. if she´s still kinda flirtatious, it might be obvious. but approaching after only one glance? too fast for me. but I´m a coward, so don´t listen to me...

That kind of attitude is exactly why so many beautiful women sit at home alone on Friday night.  Remember women are not as hung up on looks as men.. They appreciate other attributes as well.

Yeah, it's a great thread. How often do you see a thread at BEA where just about every contribution has been so positive and so go-for-it?

In fact, I'd go so far as to say that the only contributor pouring cold water on things has been the original poster himself!
