holy shit!  this is the best thread i've seen here.  congratulations, click!  it's a victory for shy guys everywhere!  the rest of us will have to keep in mind that it's just as easy as going up and talking to her.  sure, you may have lucked out regarding the scenario, or how friendly she was, but still-- most guys would not have had the guts to say a word to her.

and how true that you would have regretted it for the rest of your life.  we need to remind ourselves of that more often!

i totally lucked out with the scenario and with her being receptive, but i kind of figured "if i don't do it now, i never will..." i'm far from being the world's most confident guy, i'm not exactly the most attractive guy around either which doesn't help, but yeah, i figured what the hell and it all went wonderfully

Glad it worked out for you

Make sure you clear your history and cache before she ever uses your computer. you don't want her weirded out with a computer full of big tit pictures after only a few weeks dating.

And stop being so damned hard on yourself. If you keep thinking less of yourself SHE is gonna pick up on it and dump you. OR you're gonna figure that you aren't worthy to have her and you'll sabatoge the damn thing subconciously.

You ever notice that some FAT, UGLY, Cross eyed guys end up having beautiful women that seem to be happy to be with them? Its not always about money... its about the fat guys confidence in himself.

Be confident. Start working on that and you'll probably start pullin a lot more women and success. Don't just believe me... start training yourself by picking up Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich.

I want you to keep this chick. Too many times guys online talk about getting their dream girl and don't. Keep yours.

I know I'm repeating myself, but congratulations again!

As far as not being confident or not all that great looking, I was the same way, too.  I had no self-confidence, put little effort into making a good impression, and figured a woman would have to be blind or have low standards to want to date me.  Y'know what happened?  I didn't date much.  Eventually I started hanging out at a friend's house where this guy threw a lot of parties, and I found a lot of good-looking women who I figured were way out of my league.  Y'know what happened?  These ladies started up little bits of conversation with me, and took my shyness and beliefs of being inferior as disinterest, and I lost them.  After a few weeks my friend turns to me and tells me I could have had any of these women if I'd wanted them.  They were trying to get MY attention, but I was too self-conscious to see it for what it really was.  To put it simply, these girls that I thought were out of my league thought that I was out of THEIR league, and they took my attitude as myself thinking they were inferior rather than the other way around!

By the way, the guy who threw the parties also had his choice of the good-looking ladies who passed through there.  He is very geeky, has extremely bad acne (even though he's in his twenties), and has seemingly little to offer.  It really is all in the attitude, but don't judge yourself too harshly.  Everyone else's image of you may be wildly different from the image you have of yourself.

Oh, and hold onto that girl.  You've gotta love someone who's into all of the things that you're into.
I'm not defending my obsession, I'm just indulging in it.

i saw her in the record store over the weekend and she was looking at the new mars volta album which i'd bought earlier that morning and already had a listen to.

You know, as sad as it is to admit, I can't decide if it's more  depressing (in the envious sense of the word, for me at least ) that you've found a lass with a rack to put other racks to shame (and in Oz no less!) or that you've stumbled across a woman with an EXQUISITE TASTE IN MUSIC!

You bloody bastard. (and I mean that in the nicest way possible, something which non-aussies have trouble grasping sometimes)

Up here, I think I am the only person who even KNOWS of The Mars Volta, let alone LIKE them! Speaking of which, feel free to swing up Cairns to rub it....them....no it, in.

Seriously man, good luck to ya! *Thumbs Up*

Lucky Bastard.

j/k

And yes, I have seen my fair share of 'talent' on trip and holidays down south to some of the captials, but such 'assests' are much fewer and far between up here, though they do exist. My gf is on (and he says 'only' ) a D verging on DD cup, and that's about as good as it gets. Me thinks she's not quite filled out all the way yet though, which is always a bonus.

ah, splendid the last relationship i was in ended about a year ago, though i had the extreme pleasure of watching her grow, over the course of about a year, from a small D to an E that was beginning to fit, shall we say, a little snugly? :P  but, she couldn't hold a candle to my new gf, in either personality, looks, or bust

Congrats on the new relationship!!

I'm from oz too but don't seem to see many big guns. There is definately not many with the implanted look like in the US. You know how Australia kinda follows the US in many technology (and sometimes social) areas, but about 3 years later... I kinda wish Aussie women would take on the implant craze and get larger. We can be quite a competitive culture (eg the olympics).

Haven't met too many Australian women with implants, even small ones.

cool... this is starting to become the Australia thread!
(I'm in Adelaide by the way  )

there's definitely a bit of talent down under!

Congrats on meeting your new gf Click - I haven't been to Sydney for a while, but a good friend of mine is going to move there soon for work... I might just have to help him shift, and spend a few days looking around!
