I love RP, and have been known to spin a yarn or six in my time... but I would need a LOT of help to make it through a MUSH again. I don't remember how it goes at all. Still, I'm on board, and willing to give it a try...

Just follow the instructions on the page to get started. Write "create NameofCharacterPreferablyShortSinceYouMightReferToItALotAndYouSpecifyItToLoginAgain passwordofyourchoice"
Then the instructions on screen describe how to go from there.

In the actual chat, you use:

  • To say something, write: say Whatever you wants to say goes here | Appears as: You says "Whatever you want to say goes here"
  • For actions; :action, example :jumps | Appears as: Charname jumps
  • To see who is online, use: who
  • To page someone not in your room, use: page Name=Your message goes here
  • To examine or look at something/someone: look Object/Person or examine object/person. Example: look BustyGirl / examine BustyGirl
  • To change your name: @name me=NewName
  • To change your looks (what others see when they look Yourname): @desc me=New description
  • For freer storytelling where you completely dictate the text on the lines: @emit Your description goes here. Example: @emit Lina didn't agree with the way she handled herself, so she said "I refuse to accept this anymore"
  • For help, type @help

I'd love for this idea to succeed, I try to have the Mush client working whenever I am active at my compy. The user base  is very small as far as I can see, but if we keep letting people be aware of it, hopefully it will become more popular

I've been online many hours a day for over a week now, there are people coming, but you'll have to wait for them.

Try  http://www.macorchard.com/mud.html
I can't test it as I don't have access to a mac, but the configuration instructions given on the BE mush site are pretty easy to follow, and it shouldn't be too hard to get the client going

For anyone who is interested, I am in the MUSH right now, and I have created some fun gadgets to play with. I'm Jacob and I'm in the bar. Come on over, if you'd like.
