If you have a **10** blocker, make sure it's enabled for rapidshare.de.  I ran into that snag once.

As far as I'm aware I don't have a **10** blocker, just a couple of pop-up blockers, a firewall, a second firewall in the router, virus detection software and spy-ware removal software.

But I'm not parranoid. lol

Yeah I did that, it's after that bit that the thing doesn't work, I've tried entering the code loads of times... well ok 2 or 3 times but I get it right each time (it's a bit hard not too).

I'm willing to bet that your isp is NTL. They put all their users behind an anomynous proxy for some reason. Some web sites/programs that register ip addresses (like rapidshare does to prevent the same person from downloading more than one file at a time or more than a certain amount in any period) will register the ip of the proxy and not  your  ip. The trouble comes when there are several million users all showing the same ip (from the proxy) so rapidshare assumes you have exceeded your download limit and won't let you d/l any more, where as it's not actually you who's downloaded anything but someone else who's likely at the other end of the country.

Rapidshare doesn't work for me either and won't work for anyone who's with NTL in the UK because of the proxy. At least, that's my experience anyway.

I'd really like to get my mitts on this file too.

I know I often say this but maybe instead of using RapidShare you could use SexUploader or MyTempDir. These allow one-click access to the files, maintain the files for longer than does RapidShare, and (more to the point) works with ISPs that use proxy servers (such as NTL), so that whole "you can't download again for XXX minutes" thing is eliminated. Just a suggestion. For instance, I have to wait for another 89 minutes before I can download this video from RapidShare because I am trying to get the sample videos in the "Christina" thread...
