3D-Darlings has updated one page..  They added a 3rd Gallery page (to show what is on their 3rd disc).  It's not 'officially' linked from their main site yet, nor are there any new movies online..  But check out the pics here.

looks like he has done a really nice job on the new CD..The state of the art is getting better all the time..   Im trying to decide which new 3d program to get...Vue4 looks like a bargin for 200.00 but this month bryce 5 is coming out for 300.00 both do really nice scenery ,tree, water ect,,True space looks like the choice for building and deep space and planets,, All of these are compatable with Poser 4.03..So any ideas VC ?? have you used any of these programs and if so which are the easiest to master? BTW nice to see you posting again! cheers BC

BTW: The CD is availble for purchase now.. Looks like their about to post some movies.

I have no input on Bryce/Poser/etc..  These are the ones I can comment about:

Animation:Master: Extremely quirky and slow to render (fair to decent output), but has excellent character animation features.  Good modeler. $300.00  This is what I use currently.

Lightwave: Buggy (so I've heard) but a lightning-fast renderer.  Beautiful output.  Good character animation features. Great modeler. $2250.00

Max: renderer.  Great output.  Adequate character animation features.  ?? modeler. $?.??

Maya: Excellent character animation features.  ?? modeler. Slow renderer.  Gorgeous output.  Too expensive for most everyone.
