"We are go, 'Voluminous' has landed!"
« on: September 16, 2002, 05:42:27 AM »
Well, it's been years now since I first stumbled across this Bear Chive (lol), and nearly so long since I've been trying to get together a gallery!  But it's finally here, so please let me know what ya think...

WHAT DO I THINK?!

Vol, my first Yahoo club was your Anti-Britney Spears club.  For 3 years I've waited for your BEA gallery.  It is so good to see it up and running.  Very well done!
If only...

hee hee...  I can't believe *I* have fans...  Thanks, all.  =)

StudioZ and Javarel have gotten a lot more sophisticated lately, but you have to remember the majority of my movies are from a year or two ago.  I actually made my first one at my previous workplace - they had a faster computer than me there, at the time!  @_@  We all pretty much just experiment with new ideas, not really creating a whole work, but more series of test animations and 'commercials.'

Can you imagine what CGI BE is going to be like in 5 to 10 years?  They already have started shipping Poser5, and it has collision detection for one thing, for those of you who know how great that'd be to improve realism and save time.  The rendering engine is now ray-tracing, so you can get refraction glass effects, etc...  The tech is going at an exponential rate, as usual...  SO I like to do a simple sketch every now and then.  Not the best at it, but it's good to get back to your roots sometimes.  I mean, Ghost Yurei and Akio blow me away every time I see one of their works.

I do have a lot of older morphs, but they are not really too great.  I am kinda fond of the Britney Spears jobs I did, though.  Could one really hate her all *that* much for being such great BE-potential??  I think my club co-founder (a very nice girl, btw) was just humoring me, plus the pics brought in lots of horny members.  =P  LOL  Nothing like boobs to get attention and recruit.

If you haven't been by my personal Yahoo Group (what I'd been using as a homepage up to now) lately, you won't have seen the latest few animations.  They'll be up in a while, when I get time to fiddle more with the FTP here.  Besides, why rush things, I'm sure this was a lot at once for y'all, anyway.  ^_^

Thanks again, and seeya 'round.

p.s. - I may have done the original 'art' but Imaginos puts in a lot of hours for us all, putting the galleries together.  *stands up and claps, kicks others so they'll join in*  LOL

It's great to see your gallery up at last, Voluminous!  And though it may be true that Ricky and StudioZ have taken the Poser animations to the next level, it does not diminish the value of your own work.  We thank you for it, too!

SWEEEET!!!!

great work vol!

I particularly liked the one where she grows to the floor and falls over. nice BE and nice jiggling.

I also like how some of your models are a bit more voluptuous (not just 'personal trainer' types).

keep it up - I'm lookg forward to your yahoo group.

I really like your Vol.Rommie 1 and 2. Would be nice to see more like that. I'm not a great fan of 'poser' movies but I'll give yours a go see how they are.

Thanks for your efforts

Your poser creations are excellent!  The BE combination with height growth are the best.  I do have one question about viewing.  When I play some of the movies back, the lower third of the screen blacks out and I can't view it.  Can you please advise on what I should do with settings, etc.  I have tried RealOne & the standard Windows players.  Thank you and please keep up the great work !!

Thanks, guys.  Isn't it funny though, how many different fetishes there are, and how some are instant turn-ons for no good reason, and others do nothing even though they may have a strong following with some.

I think female empowerment is a theme in my stuff, that's certainly a wide topic.  Breast growth and/or body size increase, age progression, even muscle toning.  While it sometimes is done to cartoony extremes (it is hard to look at this stuff in perspective, am I right?), I do try to keep it somewhat realistic.

The short movies are among my favorites, since they can be looped so well.  But no less work goes into them, in fact maybe more - fine-tuning, changing the way the hair moves in one spot, etc...  These things take a while, but fortunately, with the small movies, it takes less time to render!

As for the movie players, there always seems to be a different problem.  I used DivX codec 4 to encode them, so just go to divx.com and download their latest free software.  If they give you an option (in the installation) to play old movies with the newest codec, uncheck it.  One of the problems I had when version 4 first came out, it would override all previous codecs and try (unsuccessfully) to play them all with the newest codec.  Your problem doesn't appear to be an old/slow computer, cuz they would just run choppily, not with a black bar - that's a new one for me.  LOL

Good luck, and thanks for watching.  fyi, all, until my newest movies are ftp'd to the BEA server, they are & will be posted at my Yahoo Group.

Cheers,
Vol

p.s. - Prinz, when we gonna see some of your work in motion??  =)

I used another player and got everything to play with the full picture.  Makes the movies even better!  You mentioned a yahoo site with your other movies.  What is the address?  Are there other locations on the web with your movies other than here at the BEA and at your yahoo site?  Sorry to throw out the questions, but after getting the full effect of the movies, it made me wonder if I am missing out on other areas of your hard work.  Thank you for the response and once again great job!
