Friendly feedback for Blax and Nick.....
« on: September 23, 2002, 06:14:50 PM »
I love both your works to date and have uploaded a few examples of how you can take your art a step further.
They are in *.psd format located at my website here at the BEA. The top layer is what I'd personally work on. The second layer is how I'd accomplish that goal, and the third layer is the end result. Just make the other two layers invisible when viewing a particular layer.

Thanks sheber for the tips.. I realize that now that I've got the basic steps to morphing down, what I really need to work on is refining the little details like you pointed out in those P'shop files. Thanks for the tips on this, and I'll do my best to keep working until I get the little details like pixelation and the meshing of skin down right. Feedback is very much appreciated... if anyone has anything else, please let me know! With the hooters UG back up again I should have a pretty fresh supply of new morph material coming in, so I hope to put your techniques to work over the coming days. Let me know how I'm doing.. and thanks again for the feedback!

Np, Nick. I fully expect to give you a "Holy Crap, that's good!" real soon with a talent like yours.

Nick as for the amount of increase, shape, and realism very good!

More attention to the final touch-up might help with a few morphs.  The only consistent problem is the orange discoloration of the final product. Everything else is coming along.
If only...

Whoops.. the orange discoloration is actually something intentional on my part, I usually add a layer of orange set on soft lighting to give the ladies a sort of healthy glow.. being particuarly fond of tanned skin over the alternative. If it's not coming across well, I can drop it..

The touch-up I am still (yes, still...) working on I agree.. part of my problem is I usually have a limited time in the mornings and evenings to be working on, and things sometimes get rushed. Hope to take things slower and really work the fine details soon.

Thanks for the feedback!

I'm deeply sorry for having found this post only today.
Thank you sheber (and all kind masters at BEA)for gentle supporting and tipping. As newcommers we still have got a lot of walk to do (is this expression used in your land too? it means we have still a lot to learn), but with your help the path becomes plain.

Blax12,
I didn't give it a second thought. Keep up the good work, for you are creatively gifted.
