in Files section there appears to be a few vid clips that show as .exe files.  I don't know how that works, I'm on a Mac.  Would appreciate someone more computer savvy telling how a (dot)exe file gets to be usable.

.exe files are executiable code.  I woudn't click on those with first running a virus scan with more than one anti-virus program.

As you might infer from the group name, they're screensavers.  There aren't any virii in them.  EXE's are executable programs for PC's running Windows.

The files that end in .00x (where x is a number) have to be joined with hjsplit
