OK, a little more info. She actually passed away on October 13 or about 2 weeks ago per the Forest Lawn Cemetery of Los Angeles obituary .    No details about what cause of death was.

she was suddenly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a few months ago. stage 4. same thing steve jobs had.  was fortunate enough to take her to lunch on a lovely day this summer while she was still somewhat well.  will miss her dearly.

She had always been one of my all time favorites, since the late '60s/early '70s (courtesy of my father's porn collection)...

Now, the world has suddenly become a somewhat darker place.  She will be truly missed...

So sad. Thanks for telling us. I hope she did not suffer too much. A friend at work was diagnosed with and three months later he was gone. All he could think about was about his 4 year old daughter and how she would be taken care off. He was 31 years old. Pancreatic cancer is a death sentence especially at stage 4.

So sad. I was hoping when she started that Twitter account in May it would be a chance for us all to connect to her.  Then she never posted on there again and now I know why.  She really might have been my all-time favorite.  I thought she was going to live forever, but nobody does - and this is a hard reminder.
For now, I am crushed.

I think we were all hoping that she would have put more photos of how she looked recently. As I looked at her memorial, I could not help but see her genuine beauty as she matured. There was also another obituary of ,I think her boy friend who past away back this past summer. I can only think that this lady died of a broken heart.Rest in peace Joyce. You were very loved and admiered.
