R.I.P. Anna Nicole Smith Died Today 1967-2007

Just watching the news, apparently she was found collapsed at Hard Rock Hotel in Florida. Not clear yet if she died on the scene or at the hospital. Possible cardiac problem or illness. News conferences coming soon. Very sad day... Rest in Peace Mrs. Smith. You will be missed dearly.

Regardless of my own personal feelings about her in the past this is unfortunate.

I hope the so called press will treat her with some dignity at some point.

Already on the news (Fox) they have been comparing Anna to Marilyn Monroe. Now I know Anna wasn't Monroe, but the press have basically been calling her stupid and worthless. All I have to say, is if she was "worthless", then why are all the major U.S. news networks covering her death... Anna Nicole SMith was one of the first big breast models I ever saw, and I still love her. I only hope people treat her with some respect and acknowledge her for what she has done to the mainstream entertainment and adult entertainment industries. I also hope her recently born baby is not forgotten by the (sure to follow) swarm of controversy surrounding her death.

I must agree with Hentaibee. It seemed like everything she ever did never gave her the peace she wanted, irrelevant if anyone thought she deserved it or not. Troubled or not, she was very beautiful, and loved or hated, she will be missed.

Respect & media/press never make good bedfellows.

Hentaibee, I agree. One of the few things that working in the business gives anyone is an appreciation of the manifestations of two or three of those painful mental illnesses known as personality disorders.

That's why one needs to develop nuances; it is essential to work with a person with the condition in a specific, conscious way, to minimize the disturbances that will inevitably raise chaos all around.

Despite appearances, women like ANS are fragile and usually in a lot of pain. I wish I believed in an afterlife, because she needs a chance to have things work out for her.
