I know where this one will head--into the sewer--so along with the attached, I'll take a minute to say this.

Dolly represented, for my generation, the epitome of womanliness.  Yes, she was a lightning rod for her critics--flashy, earthy, honest perhaps to a fault--but for those of us who saw her in her grandeur, she was pure magic.  A symbol of what femininity was supposed to be.  I dare say that she was more responsible than anyone on the planet for the rabid popularity of the breast augmentation.  Who *didn't* hear the one about Dolly needing to buy her brassiere at the Datsun dealership because she needed a 280 Z?

But that was silly--kid's stuff, really.  Dolly made more jokes about her figure than we did.  What made Dolly more than a flash in the pan was not her wonderful set of lungs but her ability to connect with people--and that amazing voice of hers.  She truly touched alot of people across the years and over the miles.

The attached screenshot is a collage from her appearance on Hee Haw in 1975, when she was at perhaps the zenith of her popularity and certainly at her most beautiful.

I was bearly even born back in 75, but I always thought Dolly Parton was a sexy woman. She seems to have a really great personality too, in fact I wouldn't mind spending a night with her if she'd let me.

I first saw Dolly on "The Porter Waggoner Show" back in the early seventies. I was channel surfing (not very many back then!) when this beautiful, huge-busted blond-wigged woman jumped off the screen at me. I'm not a fan of country music but after that I never missed an episode of Porter's show!
Attached is a pic from "Rhinestone". The flick wasn't much but Dolly was absolutely HUGE!

From everything I've read about Dolly over the years, she had a habit of rarely wearing a bra, flashin' people & fallin' out of her dress & wasn't afraid to show what she had.  How is it then, that no one has ever gotten a topless or an "oops" picture of her in all these years?  Its pretty amazing when ya think about it.  When I used to see her in the 70s it seemed like she was just THAT close to comin' out of whatever she was wearing.

I've heard that, in the seventies, Dolly was at an awards show when her too-tight dress ripped open down the front, exposing her upper body for quite a few seconds.  The problem was fixed when someone gave her a scarf or a shawl to cover up with. Has anyone else heard this story or is it just a case of mass wishful thinking?

As always Argyle, a refreshingly honest, informative and appreciative of big boobs (in the proper way).  I'm glad you post here, and always look forward to your stuff.

I live close enough to Dollywood (in Sevierville, TN) to make day trips.

For the record, you have been fantasizing about tits TOO LONG if you think that Dolly Parton is some kind of moronic bubblehead ditzy blonde with big boobs.  She most definitely is not.

She was simply from a part of rural Tennessee that was extremely poor, and so growing up, she always associated wearing cleavage with fame and success.  A big believer in the old saying, "If you got it, flaunt it!"

She is one of the sweetest, most generous, most caring millionaires in the entertainment industry.

For anyone truly interested in the non-big boob side of Dolly, the sensitive, talented songwriter/singer, check out her song "Coat of Many Colors".

And yes, she probably did have something to do with the popularity of breast implants, as well as stoking the fires of male desire for big boobs, but she NOT do so with the sole purpose of fame or money for herself.  I truly believe that.

And I will drop kick anyone who disagrees and make them buy me the SeaLab 2021 DVD for Xmas!!

She is a great person. Really the last of a generation of women who believed that if God blessed them with huge boobs, then they did OWE society to show them off and bring joy to the world.  She did so with grace AND MORE IMPORTANTLY with responsibility (having given hundreds of thousands to charity over the years).

Perhaps it is good she's getting a BR, because so many men (i use the term loosely) are UNABLE apparently to accept the graciousness of chesty beauties (see the Lea thread) and are total jackasses!!

We need a new club here at the BEA.

The ARWOBB.  The Association for the Responsible Worship of Big Boobs.  At meetings we could teach each other proper ways to sneak peeks and cop feels without alienating the busty women.  We could also show how NOT to alienate or in any way make the smaller chested girls feel bad about it.  They can't help it (and NO they should not be constantly expected to get BAs!!!!)

Anyway,.....i'm rambling... point is... Dolly Parton = class act.

And if you're looking for a segue from how NOT to treat busty women (i.e. the Lea thread) and looking to see ALL WOMEN as people just like us... here's a pic of Dolly as a girl to remind us, that all of us, men, women, Jew, Catholic, Asian, white.... we all start out as little innocent, good-hearted kids....

Iv'e always had a crush on her even when i was little kid. I actually got to meet her when she opened up her dinner show down here in orlando and i got to shake her hand, wow! I mean wow, prettier than i ever imagined and she is.... short! but damn, i was speachless and i got a photo with her and some other employees. There have been rumors that she will have her implants removed, I have been assured by our Marketing director of all her dinner shows in the country this will not happen for a while, they are her trademarks and well a big part of her... excuse the pun. For sure a great pioneer of busty blonds!

Dolly Parton also makes money every time the Father of the Bride movies (Steve Martin, Diane Keaton, Martin Short), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or Angel are aired.  Look at the credits of these and you'll see "Sand Dollar Productions," which is her company.

I don't understand why some people think that sex symbols are dumb because every bombshell I've seen was very, very smart, even when they were playing dumb.

It's ironic that a woman with such awesome maternal equipment could never have children of her own.

I always liked the Joan Rivers line, "She could nurse Uganda"!

Now that we've reached that sewer I was talking about, I'll re-direct my thread back to the original point--

Here's my favorite shot of Dolly, ca. 1975, which would have made made her approx. 29 at the time.

Stunning profile view in that last pic just not to sure whether or not I like the actual outfit. Now if you put her in a leather corset and some thigh high boots
