I think, Buto, that you are ignoring time, place, audience, and a lot of things. Ms. Parton was known as a singer long before she was known as a sex symbol, and she has always shown a very deep understanding of her audience and the tenuous nature of **29** [As an aside, Bluto, her name is spelled "Parton"; likewise, Lainie Kazan spells her first name with two "i"s and only one "n".]

Ms. Parton's decades of **29** have been based on a well-rooted appeal to a specific audience, and we aren't it.

As of the mid-90s, the last time I cared enough to review "Q" numbers, Ms. Parton's core audience was middle-aged, lower-income women who most respected her singing and acting, and who generally identified with her and with the roles she played.

Those people would, I think, be deeply disturbed if Dolly were to pose nude. Although it is probably painful for you to hear this, Bluto, she would rather keep her core audience than pursue your momentary admiration.

Excuse me if I prefer to stay on the overiding topic - which is TITS!  I don't give a damn how nice her voice is, or how smart she is or how much money she gives to orphans.  If you guys would rather look at Dolly wearing yards of gingim and looking coy while making naughty comments about her breasts, please feel free to do so.  But there are those of us who feel like it's just so much hogwash.  I prefer big breasted woman who aren't afraid to get down and dirty.  And I suspect that goes for thousands of other people who visit this site.
Then again, I have seen threads here which will feature dozens of rapsotic comments sparked by a fuzzy photo someone sneaked of some unknown woman wearing jeans and a T-shirt at the local laundromat.  I don't understand the appeal of that either.

Anyone fortunate enough to catch this weeks E! THS on Dolly Parton was blessed with tales from Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda remarking on Ms. Partons obtrusive prescense(s)
on the sound stages.

Seems  it was impossible to move or turn around without playing bumper cars with her bosom (42DD and expanding rapidly as Parton was going through a huge weight gain) . So every minute they'd turn around and apologize "Sorry Dolly", "Parton me Parton".
