Belated "Get-Well" sentiments from someone who's been on the inside looking out of a hospital a couple dozen times. Although I can't say that I've had any severe respiratory problems (other than a nasty case of bronchitis for a 3-month span), I can say that my stays were related to birth defect problems I had.

One of the things I decided while at the hospital was that the IVs were awesome because they were so directly linked to your well-being from the outside of you. Getting them put in was awful, but wearing one was like "Ooooh, he's delicate. You'd better not hurt him." Plus, you got all the treats you wanted that you were allowed to eat. Nobody treats you badly with an IV in you.

Thanks, guys. It has been referred to as "the old man's friend" because, once the immune system has failed, pneumonia provides a painless death.

Painless I can understand.  But (pardoning my ignorance) wouldn't that be a slow death by **60**?

Feeling much better, but still sipping tea and lounging around.

Most excerrent to hear.
