is that the same kind of saline your surgeon fills you up with?
I only know of 2 types of saline: Sterile and non sterile. The saline on this picture is sterile, so I assume it is similar to what the doc is using. (Non sterile can only be used for flushing the system or contactlens cleaning).
I wonder: Does your doc heat up the saline in a microwave so it meets body temperature? I heard it can hurt if it's below body temperature, but heating it up is often forgotten or considered non essential because the body will heat it up eventually. But heating it up beforehand makes the injection more bareable.
