Again, we have a public figure who has talked openly about her figure publicly. Lauren Makk has some body issues, but just like Kim Fields, has decided to surgically modify her body twice in the hopes of helping with a process that she continues to struggle with, self acceptance. She has been very open about many of the changes in her life and it made for some quick analysis. Specific data points were surprisingly rare given how open she has been and I was only able to lock down 8 points, 3 of which were relativistic*, yet all were directly from Lauren.

From the chart one can see the two surgical events, one at 18 (first point) and again just two years ago at age 33.

She reached her maximum size in 2017 with a breast percentage of 13.95%, essentially 14%.
However her maximum breast quotient came the year before with an impressive Bq of 331.
These two points and her age indicate that she was into her stabilized "fish hook" phase of her mid-30s.

As everyone here knows she had a reduction and now, in 2020 sits at a Bp=3.3 and a Bq=103.
This is slightly below average and at the lower end of percentage given her build.

Numbers aside, she is a strong and optimistic person, and simply fun to listen to. Very genuine.

Interesting to see the difference of 10 years.

She had gastric bypass surgery when she was just 18, having to go to Texas (from Oklahoma) because she could not get the procedure in her home state at that age. The first two images were ones she shared publicly just prior to that work. The next is her on her first aired Trading Spaces episode of which she did 15.

The image of her in the red dress is from late 2016 / early 2017 right around when it was announced that Fab Life was being canceled with the departure of Tyra Banks after just one year. It was the lowest ranked daytime talk show for 2016. This is about when Makk was at her most impressive.

Even while the remaining Fab Life episodes aired she did a brief concurrent home decor show, so her last years with the larger proportions are a bit muddled with "larger" images appearing along side "slightly smaller" or even "post reduction" photos. This is most evident on her public Faceb00k account where she shares a great deal.

It does appear that in the months leading up to her second set of surgeries that she was losing weight, which is typical for that preparation. She has done a fair amount of work on herself.

Other interesting discoveries along the way:
1. Her belly button in the 2007 black bikini photos is fake. Her original button was surgically obliterated after the surgery and plastic surgery work back when she was 18. The doctors constructed a new one seen here.

2. One can just see the vertical scar running from her pubic bone up to the base of the sternum.

3. She has had 3 breast lifts so far in her life.

4. Her maximum named weight was 287 lbs (130.18kg), however she stated that she "was even more" at times.

5. Most interesting of all was that at her largest 2016-2017 she was a co-host on Fab Life where she talked very openly about her struggles with body image, her size, and being "a big gal." It was here that the audience was told she had a 40 inch band, but it was several episodes later where a guest star let it slip that Makk was an "M" cup where her only response was "That's true". Supposedly they had been discussing bras in the dressing / green room.

6. Just like Kim Fields, Makk has provided relativistic size changes when she has stated things like, "Then after I lost the 140 lbs" or "But that was before I went up 5 cup sizes", etc. thereby allowing for a confirmed new or previous size. Only points that could be confirmed via Makk's statements were in my data points.

Still a beautiful woman but looking at her chest I can't help but think "O How are the mighty fallen."

I happened to catch about 30 seconds of Lauren Makk talking on Design Star: Next Gen.

My comparison is always to when I first saw her way back in her first Trading Spaces episode. (2007)
She still has a great personality - but I distinctly hear a tired undertone to everything.
Makk has pushed through a great deal and puts up a strong front. (pun intended)
I really hope she can reach a mental and physical point where she is comfortable and not exhausted from pushing herself. I also hope she takes care of whatever motivates her to do things to over the top.

Reading her comments on social media does feel like someone who talks a good game but only believes about half of it themselves. It pains me to see her resort to surgeries and extensive lifestyle interventions to try and handle issues that may be dealt with in other ways.

Seeing as her size fluctuates wildly, even after surgical intervention, I would make the prediction that she will again expand to some point closer to her natural baseline. Twice before she has proven to pack on volume in her chest at an astounding rate. Her growth during just ten years (2007-2017) was 8 cups (E to M). Looking over the last 2-3 years she has visibly enlarged at a similar rate, up from her very reduced BR profile in 2018.

It would appear that Lauren is following my prediction from 16 months ago.

I am surprised given how deliberately and profoundly she had attempted to change her body, lifestyle, and attitude about herself. Attached is the most recent media that I could confirm a date on, that being May 14, 2022. For reference this date is almost exactly four years after her extreme reduction, taking her from a somewhat shocking M cup to a modest B (in her own words). By the time of her wedding in early 2021 she had gained back about 2 cup sizes. This interview, in middle May of 2022, shows a fullness not evident just over a year ago.

She is very close if not slightly larger than her start size on Trading Spaces all those years ago, from which she expanded at about 1 cup a year till 2017-2018 and her reduction. Given the amount of tissue removed and likely reconstruction of her breasts, she will never reach anything close to that. I anticipate that she is reaching her maximum size (post BR) in the next 2-3 years.

I do want to add that current on-line information about her weight loss, diets, surgery, etc. is very chopped up, erroneous in many cases, or simply edited to change her history somewhat. She has used images of herself from just after the 2018 reduction in current social media posts and even her 2008 black bikini images, from after her gastric bypass surgery, have shown up as "current" images of her as recently as 2020. She turns 37 this year.

There is an easy to find photo with her plastic surgeon, not long after the reduction, which really shows how small she went in 2018. Compared to these recent appearances, her 1-cup a year trend is alive and kicking, but unsustainable.

In her own reported words, she is currently a G cup, but likely in a 36 band. It looks more like she is more comfortable in a 38F. As predicted, this is about her max now. Also, I found several associates congratulating her on anniversaries of her sobriety both at the 1, 1-1/2, and 2 year marks. Good job!

This is very good information about a naturally busty woman who decided to change her figure.

I am fascinated by the number of women who follow this same pattern of self modification. The process follows the sequence of their decision, at a very young and medically suspect age, to undergo a substantial physical alteration. Often it seems superficially motivated by factors outside themselves that they are unable to handle and feel that medical intervention is the only option.

After that there is a stretch of time where they attempt to reinvent themselves based on this new visage, even though the only thing that they altered were their proportions and did not deal with the deeper issues. Commonly you can watch them slowly shift back toward where they were. This can take years, but their inner issues persist.

Then, typically near to a mid-life decision point or sudden event that reminds them of their actual "problems" they go under the knife a second time, this time resolved to make it a lasting change. This second assertion is often accompanied with some declaration regarding their first visit to the doctor, usually noting their immaturity or erroneous motivations back then.

After this second attempt, the women who follow this pattern, do seem to then make a redoubled effort to make things "stick" this time. Then, depending on their emotional state they either eventually become comfortable in their own skin or start a pattern of repeated cosmetic adjustments trying to attain something that they had all along but could not appreciate.

I really hope that Lauren is able to see herself properly and accept herself. It is obvious that she is set up to be curvy and that is just fine, as much as it would be if she were naturally tall, or thin, or had short fingers, or whatever. It is just too bad that she can not get to that point of comfort without medical intervention to carve out something that has nothing to do with the flesh.

Makk had to leave her home state in order to get her first major procedures in her late teens. At well over 300lbs (136kg) it was gastric bypass, liposuction, skin tuck, navel reconstruction, breast lift, and minor face work. Over time she has recounted her second major breast reduction, additional liposuction, addressing scarification, work on her face (possibly dimple repair), and there was unsupported accounts of unwarranted weight loss medications. The latter I doubt as it came from a contentious source. I wish her all the best in life and feel that she is a talented and creative person while nervous that she will repeat this in just a few years.

She looks natural, proportionate, and happy. I wonder how much of that is real... and hope it will all last.
