The Mercer Archives

Something about this new forum format has inspired me to do a lot of things I've been putting off. At the top of the list is finally putting together a definitive compilation of breast related television segments, episodes, music videos, commercials, and movie scenes that I've collected over the years. Many of these segments have been passed around the net already, including the Benny Hill She-Hulk skit, which started it all for me, along with the Jello-Jiggle scene from Airplane! However I do have a number of otherwise overlooked TV segments buried in my personal archives including.
1. The entire, ucut BE episode of Oops! (1994?)
2. Lisa Lisa's infamous bra-less 38-DD performance of " Let the Beat Hit 'Em" on Showtime at the Apollo. (1991).
3. An old sports blooper tape hosted by Morganna.
4. A pre-reduction Soleil Moon Frye getting soaked on a Double Dare knock-off game Show (I haven't seen this one in years myself).(1990).
5. Amy Dolenz hosting MTV's Spring Break 1990.
6.Plus a thousand others I've forgotten about.
All are on VHS, however, I have no means of capture. Who in this forum has the best capping technolgy available for VHS? Pass along their address in a followup, and I'll gladly pass along the first volume when it's ready (I'm currently compiling, and editing all material).

Wow, between my video collection and yours, put together, we could very possibly have found the holy grail of BE. I have a couple thousand videotapes easily dating back 15-20 years. With my newly acquired video authoring equipment the world can expect to see some of these forgotten gems in the near future. I sir, would enjoy collaborating efforts.

Take care when making compilation tapes, as subsequent generations will degrade the image quality (I'm speaking in general terms, because I have no idea what equipment you are using)

Actually, the best way to make compilation tapes would be to cap all the film, then edit it all on a PC (or a Mac, even.. ) and then re-output to tape.  The beauty of this way is that one could make many many copies of said tape without really degrading the images, and you could put it all on a cd or six with a cd-burner.  The down side is it would take a lot of time to cap stuff from several thousand tapes.

Sheber, sounds good. I'll e-mail you once the first loop (2 hours of tape on SP) is complete. Maybe this weekend?
