I happen to like wearing glasses, plus since I'm shortsighted, the older I get, the better my vision is supposed to get, right?

Ah, don't listen to me, I'm just chicken when it comes to lasers near my eyes, that's all Good for you for braving it out though, Munch.

My mom and my sister both had Lasik done. They're trying to get me have it, but I can't even watch a commercial for eye drops without tearing up. So I'm not going to do it.

Congrats.  I had LASIK last March, finally paid the bill off a couple months ago.  It takes 2 minutes for each eye, cost me almost $3K.  The hardest part was wearing the googles at night while **83** to prevent your hands from rubbing them.
