I upload plain text in the "Image Description" field with the images I post in the User Gallery, but when I visit the gallery, I don't see the text. I can see the image, Date, Uploader, and several other fields, but no caption.

Other users tell me that they see the captions, so perhaps there's an issue with my account. I'm using IE7 on a WinXP x64 PC.

I'm not seeing the captions either. Im using Safari 3.1 under OS X 10.5.2

Win98se, Opera 9.26, no captions.

FireFox 1.5.0.2, no captions.

IExploder... not supported by this department.

There's no trace of any captions in the page source, not even an alt-text field for the image.

And the suggestion to add my comment is followed by a conspicuously absent non-link to do such.

I wonder if this was connected to the disabling of HTML in the Fora?

I'm a Firefox 2.0.0.1/Windows XP/Comcast man myself and I'm reading the long and delightful captions just fine.  (Just a quick dip, yeah, right -- these otherworldly gals sure do seem to get awfully distracted. )  I only mentioned what was for me one captionless frame of the whole "painting" story.  Sorry to see that quite a few are missing out.

Somebody did something. Color me shocked and awed- actual progress at the BEA!

And the stories are worth the trouble too. Makes the images that much more enjoyable. Thanks and well done, Ricky Java!
