chevi... there's no need to defend yourself... guy was clearly insulting a model, broke a rule, you enforced the rule, good job... people need something to bash, guess you got lucky today.

This is going to come off sounding snarky but I don't intend it as such.  Where in the forum rules does it say not to insult models?

The rules state not to threaten models, and not to insult other users, but I can't find where it is stated not to insult models.  Is it covered under the "Do not post at all unless you can find a polite, respectful way to express yourself" line?  Maybe I'm just missing it.

You said we can say a model needs to gain a few pounds, but that seems like it could be easily interpreted as an insult.  Frankly, I don't feel comfortable saying anything on here unless it is glowing praise about a model/actress.  The eggshells tickle my feet.

If you honestly can't tell the difference between saying you think someone could "stand to gain a few pounds" and saying a 20ish year old model's breasts look "Saggy and sucked dry - yuk." then perhaps you ARE better off not posting until you gain a bit of common sense.

For those of us WITH common sense, it should be fairly obvious, judging by what forum posts are moderated and which are not,  that unless you get nasty no one is going to get all grumpy about what you say.

I'm so done with this discussion. Feel free to post in the site issues forum if you wish to continue moaning and complaining, but I won't be joining you.

Respectfully, Why was my comments move to Site Issues?  

I really dont think my comment that she is a canidate for possible implants was inappropreate.   I still believe its a valid conversation point.  I Certainly was not attempting to be insulting.  I hope it was mixed in with the flame that was going on by accident.  

I pride myself in being a good joe around her, I would hate to think I have a violation for this.

I understand the ban, the guy was clearly rude. What I dont understand is that the moderator moved the topic to the site issues, wich is the last time I checked a discussion forum. So he clearly wanted a discussion here.

I just think that if it is indeed a longstanding rule that you can't insult models, then it should be added to the site rules.  As Galvatron mentioned, I am also curious as to whether this applies to all public personalties, such as movie actresses and tv stars.

I think it is unfortunate that rules have to be specified to that level of detail, but if borderline comments which are tolerated on most other forums are prohibited here, people need to have fair warning.

Just my opinion.
