Inspiration?  Where else? My inspiration comes directly from God.  He speaks to me and He says, "Quo vadis, Stephan," - we're on first-name terms, of course (I'll tell you His first name in another post if you're curious) - "Stephan, you've just gotta morph this here babe."  So I do.

OK, somewhat more seriously,
In reply to:

How do you stay inspired, or gain inspiration? Is it just a look at an image and a thought that says "What can I do with that one?" (pretty much the way I do it, at the moment) or "Oh, I can really do well with that one?"

It's very much like that, except that rather than "What can I do...", my first reaction is "Wow, what a babe/what a sexy pose!"  IOW I already have a dick-hardening* eye-popper in front of me: then I think, "Hey, could I make her even better?...I know, I know: a set of really huge jugs!"  And away I go.

St Stephen, truer words were never spaken!....she also speaks to me, as i truely believe with all my '.....'...that the god of boobs is in fact a goddess.

Zasha, as for me [in spite of not getting my gallery together], inspiration is not an issue.  My god, i've got folders and folders and folders of HQ images ready to receive my attention: THOUSANDS of them!  My trouble is never having enough time to do them all.  I'll get very keen on a model and do prelim morfs, and maybe 2 or 3 finished ones in preparation for a series......and then i'll become distracted by another babe [story of my life!].
I'll even start off on a saturday morn, let's say, with the intention of doing a series of 'Beach Goddesses' or 'Lapdancers', or an individual model.....and then i'll get an email or see a photo in a magazine, or somethin' that sends me off in another direction.  And as someone else said, i might just come across an image or pose that just screams out 'DO ME...NOW!'  And the motivation or inspiration can either be: 'she's cute, let's give her the kind of body she'd love to have', or 'Oh my god!!...she is Fantastic!'...so that is a lust thing and the energy involved is oriented toward the 'perfecting' or 'revealing' of her qualities.  And then there are times when i see an image and it evokes a fantasy creation, which is just fun and maybe flirts with beauty and sensation.
Concerning the process, much of the time i just start a morph and continue until i'm satisfied, and that might take several hours....other times i will quickly get the proportions the way i want them and set it aside, doing maybe 5 or 6 but saving the detail work for another session.
I have hundreds in that state which serve as a reservoir from which i can pull a couple of extra ones to make up five, if that's what i choose to do.
So those are my comments, of course much more could be said.

I too keep a stash of stuff ready to be morphed.

This is a little tip though, one that CM taught me back when I first started morphing.

Don't give out everything you have right away.. Just because I am on #700 doesn't mean as soon as it's done it gets let out for all to see.. I stockpile them, and update in small chunks. That way, in the times where I just don't have time or have nothing new to share, my gallery is still updating with new content (it's just old to me). It was great advice, and now I always make sure I have at least 50 extra morphs before an update occurs.

I go through tons of periods where I don't even touch photoshop. But nobody ever notices. My gallery typically updates once a month these days because I'm pretty busy. But there is ALWAYS a new update waiting to be thrown up for BEA members.

Oh.... and I don't know how others feel, but I tend to give out what I consider as my best work to the BEA members, since it's because of them that I have a place to store all these morphs. That and I get better feedback from them.

What keeps me going?

Since I have no real "artistic" talent, can't draw, paint, or anthing like that, I discovered that I had the ability to work with photographs. At first, my interests were in "colorizing" black and white pictures. After I did a few of those, including 2 or 3 that are now in my gallery, I got on this site and read the tutorials on how to start morphing. As I did morphs, and sending some to the User Gallery, the reviews by Catch were good, and I kept at it, finally getting my gallery set up.

From the time that Imaginos began working on my Gallery, until it was finally accessible, I think I had done approximately 50 to 60 morphs. That is what it opened with I believe.

Since that time, I have done as many as over 30 morphs a week, to less than 5. It depends on what is going on in the real world, and other factors.

After installing Windows XP, the pictures I have taken are being held, until I get another scanner. Until I get that going again, I will be working on another logo, something special to put on those pictures, that are in fact "Mine!"

What inspires me though? It's hard to say. So far I have always been inspired to morph the women's breasts. As most of you know, the majority of my morphs are of women with cleavage........lots of cleavage. I still admire the work of Magic and the other pros who contribute here. They inspire me to do better work.

Writing is different (even half-assed like mine), but drawing from humor helps. The best morphs often have a tongue in cheeck approach. Humor and erotica complement each other and often inspire me.
