I might agree, but thanks to Republican economics, I don't have any savings to throw at the stock market.  So I hope it keeps going lower.

After one of the first day or two of said carnage, cherri jumped back on TiVo to show me the closing bell.  

Instead of the usual smiling, clapping crowd, there was just one quiet person.  And he looked pretty glum.

I'd reckon you've still got time - we should see some more dips before this all settles out, and even if you don't make your buys at the absolute bottom there's still some paper to be made.

I guess even if the easy pickings from the stock market are not to be had, I could still snag a bargain or two in the residential real estate market. Let's see how it goes.
