Yah, I have been wanting an update because last I heard her health was getting terrible. I feel bad for her - can anyone confirm the rumors that her rheumatoid arthritis is getting so bad she can barely get out of bed some days?

"Busty" Kathi is one of the best of the cheesecake models out there. It would be a terrible shame if she is indeed suffering, healthwise. I wish her all the best.

Oh, it can happen. A lady I used to work with went from fully functional to completely disabled in less that a year from the same illness.

Hi gang! greetings from Kathi Somers.
She is doing fine, but more into taking care of family and her health than a web site.
She adds the following:
I am touched by everyone's concern about me and glad that people still think
of me fondly. I do have arthritis, but it isn't rheumatoid and I'm not
bedridden. I'm actually doing OK and enjoying living a quiet, low-key life
at this time. I have plans to take my old site address and turn it into an
Internet portal linking to things I think my fans would be interested in,
but I'm not sure just when that will get up and running. I will post a note
at BEArchives when there is something new to see.
Kathi's birthday is 22 September. You may write her at

Yes, I am very glad to hear that she is doing much better than we had feared...we've lost too many of our favorite people recently!

I only hope that she archived her stuff that used to be on her site, which was one of the best "cheesecake" sites on the web ever.

I've been reminiscing about some of the Original BEA princesses and as I found Melonie Charm, I stumbled onto Kathy Somers. She was/is a looker but she hasn't posted anything here since 2003.

I wonder how she is doing.
