I'm seeing what I can track down, but I read a one-liner about Sarah Palin making plans to visit Margaret Thatcher.

With all due respect, Ms Palin apparently hasn't been informed that what remains of Ms Thatcher is completely demented. She no longer recognizes her children, and the greatest service Ms Palin could perform would be a **39** change.

Come to think of it, that's about the condition Reagan was in when Shrub got elected.

fits perfectly with her political persona:

-speak on things about which you dont have a clue.

-blame the media when your ignorance is called out.

wow

but what's she going to do now though? try and paint bill oreilley as a member of the dastardly entrapping liberal media elite?

Palin Lies: Claims Obama Refused Help in Gulf from Norway, Netherlands – But They Are on Site:
http://www.pensitoreview.com/2010/06/16/palin-lies-about-obama-refusing-foreign-assistance-in-gulf/

biased link there btw, but the simple facts of what was said vs reality are simple as the words leaving her mouth lol.

nah my bet is she'll just do her best to avoid this one. if she has to shell speak generally about the liberal elitist leanings of any reporter who would dare to ask her why she either out and out lied or is just completely ignorant about the subjects upon which she speaks.

what does this lady have to do to prove she has absolutely nothing of substance to offer?

It's interesting in reading this article how all the various commentators and *cough* reporters on FOX News, like Palin, basically picked up on the same false information regarding international help and/or the Jones Act and went on to report it like it was the truth.

Just goes to show once the media circus gets an idea in it's collective head no one, least of all the talking heads before the cameras, has the smarts to double check the story's source by doing a little good old fashion journalism, like background research and/or on-site reporting.

Of course to be fair I've seem the same shit on other networks too. And it is this kind of crap that scares me cause it was one of the reasons Bush and Co. was able to convince the American people about the WMD's in Iraq, and other so-called factual reasons for going to war. Only one newspaper syndicate, whose name at the moment escapes me (Scripps Howard? ???), actually did the kind of background checking on this "so-called proof" presented by the White House to see though the "big lie" that the rest of the media, including the WP, NYT, LAT all swallowed hook, line and sinker.

In a lot of respects from what I see on the TV and elsewhere this on-going story in the Gulf is suffering quite a bit from the same kind of sloppy and shoddy reporting.

Steven Colbert staff did this! Then they change their avatar accordingly

The Daily Telegraph (UK): "Sarah Palin criticises Michelle Obama and Barbara Bush"

Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor, has criticised two First Ladies, blasting Michelle Obama for her campaign against childhood obesity and dismissing Barbara Bush as one of the "blue bloods" trying to fix the political system.

Who's nailin' Palin? Not Ted Nugent, though he clearly would love to:

"She's on her way to being a good leader," Nugent says. "She's coming from the street, she's coming from the we-the-people rank and file, she makes sense when she talks, she says all the right things, she's sincere, she's knowledgeable, she's articulate, plus she's damned good-looking."

"She makes sense when she talks"?? Ted Nugent is also clearly under the influence of some very powerful drugs.

Cornelius, a city in Portland just got a new Mayor, and on his **24** page he is a fan of "Ted Nugent for President" and people with short memory forgot that this guy tried to pass a ban on homosexual in housing in the city, and broke the city in legal fees when it was turn over by the court. He has a video of him shooting with an automatic rifle, and racing monster truck on youtube. Very Ted Nugent material! That was back in 1990, and now he is back and he knows better that you can't have secret meeting with several city councilman or use political office for personal gain in misuse of city funds. Very Sara Palin material!

After one week in office, already being investigated for wrong doing, and the insurance company inform him that he doesn't have the funds for misdemeanor in office. The rep from the city insurance company showed up at the city council meeting to issue a warning. It's going to be quite interesting.

after one week in office people are already yelling recall at his first city meeting, even the people that voted for him.
