I went to pick up my meds at the pharmacy and there was a long line of first timer vaccination. Plus the news of the insurrection is not looking good for the last administration, while Trump himself stated he is fully vaccinated has some effect of people waking up. 2 rules here, we cant insult NAZI and call out racism, both will get you ban. Misinformation of Covid has free reign in the forum because of political differences and is fully supported.

I am not right-wing or left-wing, but as many people are aware, anyone who does not agree with left-wing ideology is immediately labelled a 'Nazi' or some other insult.
I have a science degree, and work in a hospital where I have seen first hand the result of SARS-Cov-2. I also know the effectiveness of vaccines and masks and how well/badly they have performed during this pandemic.
In both cases their effectiveness has been way overstated. The vaccine is really just a preventative measure at this point, it does not prevent infection or transmission, despite what they said in the beginning (very interesting video of Biden and Maddow telling us how getting the vaccine will end transmission).
Stop calling everyone a NAZI who does not agree with you and yes, you can call out racism, as long as it is actual racism and not just something you yourself feel is racist, (which these days can literally be anything according to Merriam-Webster, who have probably changed the definition AGAIN since I started typing this post.)

I will agree to the effectiveness of the vaccine wasn't able to prevent the first attack of the immune system, but it did prepare the the pattern for the body ability defend itself from the secondary attack that burrow deeper into the body. But to claim Objectivity of observance while defending Strikezone ability to call us Nazi and racist while sharing his view right wing views on the vaccine is laughable.

I merely stated that a certain individual (one, singular) was very left-wing in his ideology and said he was to the left of Stalin. Do not take things so literally. You are tired of our bickering, but I am tired of his demonizing those that are trying to protect people from this covidAnd what about the demonizing of people who don't wear a mask or want the vaccine? Sure, if you don't want the vaccine because you think Bill Gates is going to put a chip in your arm, you are crazy, but if you are worried about the long term effect (remember mRNA vaccines for widespread use are relatively new) of the vaccine, or having an adverse reaction to it, then why demonize these people? As for masks, their effectiveness is not as efficacious as you might think, viral particles are small enough to pass right through. if masks worked as well as we are told, you would not be seeing huge rises in case numbers. It can't all be spread by unmasked and unvaxxed. In fact in the UK, infections rose for a month once the mask mandate was put in place, probably due to people thinking it made them immune. I am not anti-mask, or antivax, but I am against mandates. What we are seeing most of all right now is scapegoating because Governments haven't a clue how to get out of this, every measure they have done has failed. 2 weeks to slow the spread, vaccines, masks. People not wanting the vaccine (despite not needing everyone to be vaccinated to ensure herd immunity, or so we were told before the rollout) are an easy target to blame. Even if everyone was vaccinated, infections would not slow that much, especially given that the vaccinated have more freedom and are generally asymptomatic, they are therefore more likely to be the ones increasing the case numbers, not the unvaccinated. The unvaccinated are more likely to be more ill (not so much by Omicron though), but even so, even at it's most deadly, Covid only killed off less than 2% of people, and that was mostly those over 75. Under 75 and the percentage drops. Saying stupid things like 'having to wait till all the unvaccinated die off from Covid' is ridiculous, because at a rate of less than 2% a year, you will be waiting a long time.

It isn't hard to do research. Everything is politicized these days, if Trump was still in power it would probably be the Democrats refusing the vaccine. US politics is really that polarized. It may astonish you to learn that in a Poll of both Democrats and Republicans, it was found that those on the right were found to be more tolerant of the views of the opposite side than those on the left. I'm not talking about extremist views either, I'm talking moderates.

And for the last time, I am not right-wing! My political compass test puts me almost firmly in the centre (slightly left-leaning), the problem with politics nowadays is that even people in the centre are seen as being right-wing due to the lunacy of the modern far-left which seems to be going ever further left at an alarming rate. I don't remmeber the left-side of politics ever being as bad as it is now. Even Bill Mahar commented on how nuts the left is getting. If it looks like I side with StrikeZone, it may have something to do with the fact that he only seems to be pushing back against the further expansion and validation of left-wing policy by media and politicians. I don't agree with him on all that much politically, but I defend his right to say it, as long as he does not attack another poster, I have already banned him once for that, and would do again. However I prefer to let people express their opinions without interference, all you seem to want to do is attack me and accuse me of siding with people.
