Wow ...  ??? Maybe Hillary will go to jail after all.  ;D Nah, won't happen. Obama will pardon her just as he has been pardoning drug peddlers right and left.  Nevertheless, this makes Brexit look like small potatoes. I wonder how much world stock markets will crater. But then, a " Deplorable " like me is amazed about the result.

Real Clear Politics has officially agreed with other political sites and it's Trump.  :o I'm amazed. Clinton had all the advantages. Wall Street, Hollywood, Silicon Valley, Media were for her. She had a lot more money and her party was more united. This election will be studied for many years to come. Consider this, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin have not voted for a Republican since the 1980's.  :o That's how weird this election has been.

I knew the polls were wrong - they were wrong here about Brexit and they were wrong there in the US.

People wanted change - and that is what they are going to get. I feel quite optimistic to be honest.

So much went wrong according to the news here in the US.

I personally do not trust ANY survey.  My personal experience is that those giving surveys ignore results they don't like to get closer to what they want the 'survey' to show.

How did Clinton lose? My opinion :

1. She didn't play to win.

A few stories now coming out; No large crowds, at her small rallies she talked more about how bad Trump was, to talk about her plans or vision.  All I ever got from her adds was how bad Trump is as a person ( not a news flash ).  No explanation of what she wanted for the US.  They COUNTED on the general hatred for Trump to carry the day.

2. They didn't count on the general hatred of Hillary.  There are people I work with that the way they talk about Hillary it's as if she personally shot everyone in the Lybia.

3. There are men out there that will never vote for a woman, not for President.

4. Young voters think Trump can carry out his promises.  One I know is now waiting for Trump to put Hillary in jail; that will never happen.  The office of President does not have that power.  If they can prove she committed a crime, nail her.  Trump will find out what the limitations of the office are.  They think he can clean up Washington?  Yea right, keep dreaming.

I don't trust him, don't like him, didn't vote for him.

The incoming clusterfuck can be endured.  With hope and luck a true leader will come forward next time around.

All societies, countries and human endeavors carry the seeds of their own destruction. What hurt Clinton was her inability to connect with those who hate this politically correct, multicultural, globalized balderdash which so many have convinced themselves is inevitable. People like having nations, not global institutions. In Europe Brexit occurred because Angela Merkel of Germany decided to invite a horde of people that will never assimilate without even consulting what the other countries thought and she'll probably lose the election. She did it not thinking what was good for Germany but good for the European Union bureaucratic elite  which is not even a representative elected body. Nationalism will always trump globalism and that is the global political earthquake that will afflict many countries. So will Trump be able to govern effectively  ? Who really knows but the House and Senate have remained Republican so that can probably help him. The biggest loser of the election was the press. It threw away its objectivity completely and now a large majority of Americans, conservative or liberal, don't trust it. The press has fully reverted  to what it was in the 19th century, a partisan yellow press, and has thrown away its hard earned 20th century objectivism and has been discredited in the eyes of most Americans. Hell of a shame.
