Trump flack/lackey/mouthpiece/"attorney" Rudy Ghouliani did the round of Sunday morning talk shows, and managed to assert that:

* Trump can end any investigation at any time.
* Trump can pardon himself
* Trump cannot be indicted while he's president.

For Pete's sake. Can someone please remind them all that only a person convicted or found guilty of a crime needs a pardon in the first place, so that if this is the line they are pursuing, then that must mean that...well, you know the rest.

Anyone remember the company RCA Victor? Their advertising used to feature a puppy dog in front of an old-fashioned gramophone, with the slogan "His Master's Voice" underneath. That's what this news reminded me of:

CNBC: "Russian leader Vladimir Putin: President Trump and I 'regularly talk over the phone'"

I thought it was very odd that he gets his lawyers to script up a get out of jail card letter, and then claim that all that is moot because he hasn't done anything wrong.
"Yesterday, Reince Priebus called this whole story a 'nothing burger,'" he said. "Well these emails have turned it into an all-you-can-prosecute buffet."

Last week there was some doubt about the Jeff Session policy of ripping the children away front the parents in large number

That's strong. A senator who wants to do his job and control a facility like this is blocked like this, not even a conversation? Wow. Reminds me of a totalitarianism state.

You just need to read the tweets of Trumpelstilskens entrails digging butt hole enhancing idiot voters as answer to this: https://twitter.com/UNGeneva/status/1003989382808760321?s=19

They put the law of illegal immigration over the humanity, physical and psychical health of children when they fall under detention and put into concentration camps. No country needs people like these commentors. They are animals. They are sick and should get help.

Two very concise essays were published recently:

"President Trump Still Way Too Lazy to Do His Job" by Jonathan Chait, New York, 6/7/18

"Donald Trump possessed less relevant experience and subject expertise for the job of president than any person ever elected to the job. Those deficits can be offset, to a degree, with dogged study and hard work. But rather than make up for his historical lack of qualifications, Trump has compounded the problem with historical laziness."

"First, Trump is acting cranky and resentful in anticipation of his journey to faraway Canada [for a G7 summit meeting]."

"He also has little patience with domestic functions. The Post obtained audio of his meeting with FEMA to discuss preparedness for hurricane season. You might think Trump would grasp the importance of the issue given that thousands of Americans died on his watch in the wake of a bungled hurricane response in Puerto Rico. You would be wrong. Trump was totally unable to concentrate on the task at hand."

"In addition, “Trump has also not presided personally over a meeting of those senior NSC officials, as a president typically does when making the most important decisions.” So Trump is planning to go into a meeting in which millions of lives might hang in the balance, and negotiate issues he barely understands, and his plan is basically to wing it because the Fox News lineup has too much good stuff to miss."*

*I've read reports that say aides are actually using screen caps of Fox News chyrons in El Presidente's breifings....

We’ve Got a Problem. A Big Problem. by Josh Marshall, Talking Points Memo, 6/8/18

"The last twenty four hours of attacks on our closest allies capped by President Trump’s seemingly out of the blue demand to bring Russia back into the G-7 (making it again the G-8 which it was for most of the post-Cold War era until Russia was expelled over the annexation of Crimea) simply brings the matter into a newly sharp relief. If candidate Trump and President Putin had made a corrupt bargain which obligated President Trump to destabilize all U.S. security and trade alliances (especially NATO, which has been Russia’s primary strategic goal for 70 years) and advance the strategic interests of Russia, there’s really nothing more remotely realistic he could have done to accomplish that than what he has in fact done." (emphasis mine)

"At a certain point – and I’d say we’re clearly at or past that point – it really doesn’t matter whether we can prove such a bargain was made. I’m not even sure it matters whether it was explicit or even happened. The bank robber helped the teller get the job and now the teller just won’t seem to lock the safe or even turn on the alarm. We can debate forever whether the teller is just absent-minded or has some odd philosophical aversion toward locks. The debate may be unresolvable. It truly doesn’t matter."

Seriously, go read both essays. They aren't much longer than the excerpts I've posted.

I don't see how anyone with a functioning brain can say that all this is "making America great again".

And I don't want to have to bring up the Holocaust, but in reference to the separation of immigrant families - especially those who have come here seeking asylum and refuge from the terrible conditions in their home countries, and the "warehousing" of separated chi|dren - I note that even the Nazis kept mothers and their little ones together when they sent them to the gas chambers......

Really, you don't see the Irony of it? I guess in the Trumptser eyes he can do no wrong. The last time we separate the little one from the parents is during Slavery which is why American slavery was deem the worse kind of all history because of this cruelty of taking the the little one away. But I guess with that history behind us that a few see no connection to Hitler.

There is no irony on Hitler's Gas chambers! It is a serious matter. 5.6 - 6.3 Million jews where murdered by Hitler, a large number of them in the gas chamberrs.

I might be quick and require not too much proof to say that someone is a nazi. But being Nazi means someone shows all the characteristics a german Nazi showed. Not all Nazis murdered themselves, but they supported the system and made it possible. I don't want this to happen in any country anymore therefore my naming of someone as a nazi.

Look in the Beshine thread and read Solvegas and see how wrong I am ... how full of political correctness shit I am. And how I fail to value, totally overexaggerated analysis that could directly come out of the latest Nazi books that are spread throughout Europe (mostly in small nazi publishing houses or self publishing, because nobody want else want to print this hate speech and totally biased bullshit) ... with statements "like we would dispose ourselves and let us replace with immigrants", which is utterly racist bullshit, people full of fear write this shit.

Fact is that human history is always a story about immigration (legal and illegal), every country. If you want to control that, it is like "1984" or controlling people like the former German Democratic Republic Staatssicherheit (Stasi). ...
And a bad example what happens if you isolate yourself is Chinese society ... China was once world leading before Americas were discovered by the Europeans, when Europe was dark Middle Age ... Then China isolated itself against foreigners. The result? At the begin of the 20th centry China was a 3rd world country.

But you are still not able to see the correlation between Hitler and Trump?!?!? And that at least Hitler started out better than Trump. We are already making a concentration camps for the little one as young as 4 years old, and sent them by way of a freight train to their destination and lost record of over 1,400 of them to track them back to their parents. How is it possible you don't see the irony of it all? I don't think Irony means that its a joke, I have no idea where that come from. I hope that we dont have an oven, but they did find many mass grave at the border that is unaccounted for and under investigation that will probably go no where since Hate is the most rampant in this administration, and Trump just pardon one of the biggest hate monger of Arpio. The fact is that the camps were bar from a congressman to inspect, says that  we can't be sure of anything, but of what we do know its worse than Hitler. swap out Mexicans with Jews and you got the same thing.

Trump suggested that we bury our nuclear waste at the border so those that come over will die quickly, and this was a serious proposal. The more stuff he gets away with the more I think a gas chamber is not far behind.

Hitler didn't start out better than Trumpelstilsken. Hitler was already the one who tried a coup in Munich 1923. He was sentenced to prison. The german Nazis (still to become nazis) founded a para military unit (Sturmabteilung SA) in 1920 and he had them before he got chancellor. And he also got a unit used as body guards (Schutzstaffel - SS) and later became Hitlers most important unit supporting him and they were the unit who watched over the Holcaust, while the SA leaders between 150-200 got removed 1934 my murdering them and the SA got downsized afterwards.

So far Trumpelstilsken isn't the same as Hitler, but he is on the way to it. I cannot deny. And unfortunately I believe he will get quite close if people don't deny him this possiblity and stop him and his GOP mafia.

I can't believe that today is the day I have to defend Trumpelstilsken, but so far I still see a difference. But overall I don't want to give Trumpelstilsken a pardon for this concentration camps for children.

On this I can agree as long a people stop him with elections or by justice. In case he would seize power with illegal means I am pretty sure the US laws would also cover sanctions the people can apply.

Just for example the German constitution allows certain actions to the people if a government would seize power and remove democracy and implemnt a totalitarian system. If justice in that moment still works and a court comes to conclusion that a certain article of the constitution would be affected, the German people have the permission to arm themselves and remove the government and re-establish democracy.

I'm going to say something very cynical and mean right now, one which reflects the thinking of those who support the current occupant of the Oval:

It's bad business to deport people when you can jail them, use their less-than-minimum-wage labor to make stuff for Wal-mart, and make money from the government in the process. This story from November 2017 provides the proof:

Meanwhile, at the G7 summit in Canada....

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau gave El Presidente a nicely framed photograph of his (Trump's) grandfather's first hotel. It was up in the Yukon during the gold rush. And though El Presidente denies it, the place was indeed known for "private rooms for ladies (nudge, nudge, wink, wink, know what I mean, say no more....)"

French President Emmanuel Macron was having none of Trump's crap, especially when it came to the Iran deal: "You’re not comfortable with an agreement signed by your predecessor, maybe just because it was signed by your predecessor, but don’t stop others from respecting it and don’t push Iran to leave, because that’s the best protection we have today."

Attached is a photo from Angela Merkel's official Instagram account. It's been making the rounds, and getting comments like "It looks like an intervention", "He's been brought to the Principal's office while the entire faculty looks on.", and (from Vincente Fox, former President of Mexico) "You’re such a spoiled brat, creating imaginary enemies all over the world. This lady and gentlemen are the true leaders of the free and modern world, you’ve made sure the U.S. lost its position."

El Presidente spent most of his time at the summit.....being late for things, and then leaving early. He's on his way to Singapore to meet Kim Jong-Un. He's not going to do much to prepare for the meeting, trusting his "touch" and "feel" (El Presidente's ACTUAL WORDS). Yep, he's going to get all touchy-feely with the Supreme Leader of North Korea.....

I gotta say the final act of Hitler doesn't define him, its the whole process of instilling hate as a policy that defines him that got him to a place that led people to exterminate the people. If you only check your leaders by the final act, then its far too late to see that correlation!

I fully agree. The danger is there. It is a self-energizing process. You have someone who knows that people want radical solutions, but they are not very loud. This someone is a reality TV star. He knows how he can make a show and get to this people by seeding hate. The people swallow it and get totally raunchy about it they want more. The former reality TV star realize these people want even more hate and spoilage. He delivers racism and likes this new feeling that got him president. Now he needs more and more of it. Propaganda is the best way to achieve it. Glenview was a master in it doing this job for Hitler. Trumpelstilskendoes it himself. And when he sets the world on fire his goons and was told voters cheer him even more, because he destroys friendships. It is like a bar brawl with hillbillies of IQ 80 picking a fight. People that have some respect are shocked and want this fight put to an end, call the police, but it is not coming because they have advantages out of these bar brawls ...
The dysfunctional G(once she maybe was, but now it is the mafia)OP is not able to stop him. They play the game because to their advantage
