To change Forum settings so that you see 50 topics per page:

This is the latest model of the M109A7 " Paladin", first put in service in 1963 and has been used in Vietnam, Yon Kippur war, Desert Storm, Iraq war and now in Ukraine. It is a 155mm self-propelled howitzer with a 38Km range at present, but it will soon have a new cannon with rocket assisted shells which should give it a range of over 70Km, which means it may remain in service until the 2060's and just like the B-52, the M2 .50 caliber machine gun and the 1911 A1 .45 Caliber gun, become another centennial weapon since the replacements are simply not that much better.

The designers of those weapons should be pretty proud, it's not often in any profession that you can come that close to perfection.

I won't be going to watch the movie in the theatres but I do believe that Austin has a great shot at nabbing an Academy Award nomination for his mesmerizing portrayal of Mr. Presley, if not a win.
