In 1968, at the Mexico Olympics Estadio Olimpio, Olympic Stadium, I witnessed something amazing when Bob Beamon jumped and got the Long Jump Gold medal when he leaped at 8.90 meters or 29feet 2.25 inches, a record that wasn't broken for 20+years. My father had gotten tickets that day from his company and so our family saw things that were amazing that day.  :)
