Spine compression is NOT fun

yesterday i was walking down the stairs that lead out to my driveway and i slipped on some ice and my feet went from the 3rd step to the 1st one.  i fell to the ground clutching my back and tearing up from the pain.  i  took some advil and laid down on my bed with a heating pad, i feel MUCH better the next day but i have to tell you the human spine does NOT make a good shock absorber .

Back injuries are no fun. A friend of mine had a similar accident, tried to tough it out and at age 57 is disabled and needs a walker to get around. DO NOT ignore the pain. See a doctor and have it X- rayed. Just saying.
