I use liquify a lot. I see it creates some problems, but I think most of them can be resolved by tricks like the one I told you. More important, if you use it properly, liquify gives a lot of good results because it enlarges the whole image. I mean, the cut-paste-enlarge routine makes tits bigger while the body is untouched. So, the area where tits and body are in contact usually doesn't fit. While using liquify you can enlarge boobs, leave the body at its size, but creating - at same time - a progressive enlargement/shrinking effect of the parts of the boobs and of the body which are connected to each other.
Then, liquify allows you to enlarge light & shadows too. So final image seems more natural.
Obviously it melts colors. Or it makes these "color veins".
One suggestion I'd like to give about using liquify is:on first step use the spherize brush, but don't be still on one point or that area will increase in size too much. You have got to move like a cirle over the boob. More if the tit is naked, in order not to deform the nipple. You gotta move around the nipple.
Use the spherize brush just on first touch. Then use the first tool, let's call it warping brush. With some practice you'll be able to create the shape of the tits you prefere. This tool - instead of spherize one - helps not to deform too much the color pattern.
Zasha, in order to perform that routine I told you about surely you have to liquify first, then use the blur. If you do the opposite you'll liquify a blurred image and it will be a mess. I use blur in that routine just in order to uniform the color patch when I have those "color veins". Then I use the filter as final step.
