Very close to true, but she didn't have Marilyn's mental issues. There are all sorts of stories like that in Hollywood. Someday when you've got a couple of hours, you might read up on Barbara Streisand and Lanie Kazan. Starting out the only difference was than Lanie was about three cup sizes bigger. In the early 1960s they tried out for the same parts. The same is true for guys. There was a guy in acting classes with Kirk Douglas in the 1940s. I can't recall his name, but he was the same "style", but better looking. Later Douglas always made sure he got small parts in Douglas movies.

"Boy meets World" was right in my age bracket back in the 90s, TGIF and all.  Man did I think she was hot.  I remember the Prom episode where they were 'going for it' at the same hotel his parents were staying at.  Anyway, I don't think I could have turned that girl down.

I just saw her the other day on whatever show she's hosting now, and I was blown away, I hadn't seen her in years, and she only looks better.

Most of the time I know a bit about the origin of vintage shots. This one I kept because of the shirt, but I think the file name is misleading--It is clearly a shot of Virginia Bell relatively early in her modeling career.
