For me, Lady Death is simply the culmination of something that happened to me while watching the movie ALL THAT JAZZ. Long before that was a catchphrase from the Best Picture CHICAGO, it was Bob Fosse's vaguely autobiographical fantasy, in which he kept having surreal conversations with a young Jessica Lange dressed in white. Finally you realize: Lange is Death, and Roy Scheider is facing a fate much harder to resist than any mechanical shark named Bruce. Lange as Death ... I've been rather philosophical about mortality ever since.
If someone could morph Lange as Death, Chaos! Comics' Lady might begin to have some competition -- maybe.
