It's not a ratio, it's the difference in inches.

SB is kinda right. The narrower the back in individuals with the same size bust means the cup size is bigger for the girl with the narrowest back. Same works in reverse. Differing bust sizes on differing measurements around the ribcage can mean all have the same cup size etc.

That's sort of what I meant. Bra sizes, cup sizes etc, is a lot more complex than people think!

I would have mentioned the Daily Sport page 3 girls, but they never really appeared in the Sun, they are like their own grouping. Besides, in the daily sport it isn't just Page 3, it's Page 4,5,6,7,8 etc!

Take Woman A (44D) and Woman B (34FF).

Although Woman B measures less inches around than Woman A, far more of the inches are a result of her breasts, rather than back size, or any other additional fat.

Well, that's my understanding anyway... :-)

Take two women, both have breasts which are the same size. One is a 36, one is a 32. The woman with 32 will have a bigger cup size despite the fact her breasts are the same size.

Strange I know, but that's how it should work if a woman is measured properly.

The underbust measurement is basically the large black oval.  The cup size is based on the difference between this measurement and the red, larger circumference.

Sorry SuicideBomber you are wrong....it is the cup size that indicates the volume of the breasts....a lady who is a 44A....has a huge ribcage and is a big lady...but is also pretty much flat chested....a 34FF is a petite lady with outstanding breasts...

I was married to a lady....well...was?....I am still, until 26 November....for 22 years...who is a 34 JJ...she is tiny and petite...but with huge natural knockers...

When we married 22 years ago she was a FF....and I have watched her expand over the years....I have bought the bras...so I am sorry....but your personal volume theory is all at sea.

Some nice pics, especially of Saskia dwarfing the others, but it does show a sad trend that I have spotted in The Sun recently and that is an apparent avoidance of bigger girls. You used to see Sophie Howard/Michelle Marsh et al. (i.e. really busty girls) frequently, but for some reason the best the can offer is the (too skinny for my taste) Keeley. What has been going on. What happened to the fantastic trend of 2003/2004 towards bustier girls? Any thoughts from the UK on this?

Keeley Hazel, Sophie Howard, Michelle Marsh, Lucy Pinder... the list goes on and on now.

Funny how Page 3 girls seem to go in cycles. In the 80's it was chunky and yet stacked babes like Maria Whittaker, Karen Brennan, Tracey Neve etc. Then in the 90's Page 3 went into a bit of a slump when it seemed to focus on the more flat chested girls. There were one or two hotties in that era, Donna Ewin for example, and later on Tara O'Connor.

And now we have a penchant for the stacked babe again. And not just stacked, SLIM and stacked. Girls like Michelle Marsh, Lucy Pinder, Sophie Howard and Keeley have really got the imagination, and with the advent of Lad's mags, their popularity is more mainstream than ever.
