I decided not to use my usual nick just in case someone stumbled upon my fetishistic proclivities.  While searching for a new nick I happened to be listening to the Counting Crows' "Mr. Jones".  Next, I went looking for a suitable avatar, gaining inspiration from the legendary Galvatron.  I chose Bugs Bunny as he was a favorite of mine growing up.  But not just ordinary Bugs, I wanted one that was him in disguise, so I located the one you see now.  I think it works, particularly for my morphs/fakes.  C'est nes pas?

I even have an alternate that's animated (though I haven't used it yet) of another favorite cartoon rabbit.  Something from Schoolhouse Rock...

I was going to take the name of a particular purple Decepticon Commander, but he'd already been posting some great work in the User Gallery at the time and I didn't want to cause unnecessary confusion.  Fortunately, I'm also a big fan of the Prisoner, and no one had taken McGoohan's number yet.  If someone had, I probably would have gone with being Number 2 instead.

I didn't have any nick yet and I wanted to have one that reflect my...let say... obsession. I didn't have much
time either (was at work) so I looked up at this wall in my office and saw the name of that corporation, took the
first letters put it with breast and came up with OmniBreast. Nothing original, but it sounded nice at the time.

My moniker is the name of a comic book character. Anyone who knows who he is already realizes how unbelievabley cool he is. Therefore, if you're still in the sark, look up Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, and be enlightened!

Mine doesn't refer to anything in particular - I just wanted something that sounded like a man's man, like some platoon buddy from WWII who might or might not share his nudie mag with you.

In the "Camp Krusty" episode of the Simpsons, when the [censored] finally get the mail bag and Lisa is calling out names and tossing out parcels she yells "KOWALSKI!!" and it is clearly meant to evoke an old wartime mailbag scene.

I really... really... really like fire. a lot.  I was also reading one of the New Human Torch books at the time I came up with a name, and mulled over using HumanTorch for a while, but decided to be a little more original.  Plus I'm a metal sculptor and I work with an oxy/acetaline torch all day .

Waaaaaayyy back when I first showed up here, my e-mail account was [email protected]. Seelie would be the name of the summer court of the fey in many European traditions. Don't make the mistake most modern fantasists do (even Brian Froud) of thinking that means "good faeries". There's no such thing. As the old (circa A.D. 500) saying goes "We call them the 'good neighbors' because that's the name that doesn't make them angry". I chose that one over Unseelie since I lived in Southern California at the time, and it's always summer there, so it fit better.

The translated name was indeed Saint Weapon. I picked it since all other weapons were taken (Emerald, Ruby, and Omega, etc).

Everytime I have to think of a name for chat rooms, whatever, I always get a blank as I've never had a monicker which I've stuck with. Anyway, got this name from the fact that when I joined here I had just, day before I think, been accepted for a job as a stocks dealer and was well chuffed with it so therefore, when I registered, I thought "Dealer". And the rest is history!
