I was watching that gameshow Baggage, hosted by Jerry Springer, the other day. In case you're not familiar with it, a guy (or a gal) is set up with three alternatives of people to date. Each person comes with three pieces of baggage which contain progressively bigger secrets. The dater eliminates two of the three alternatives and in the final round, his/her own big secret is revealed and the chosen dater has to decide whether or not to accept the first person's "baggage".
Anyhow, in the second round, one of the alternatives' baggage was "I **84** With Both My Second Cousin and My Third Cousin." His excuse was that he was set up on a blind date and didn't know it was his third cousin until he'd done the deed. Then he came to Los Angeles and started dating another woman and was like "What are the odds that in a city of 17 million people, I'd meet a woman who'd turn out to be one of my second cousins?"
Jerry's response? "But why didn't you ever date your first cousin? She must be feeling left out..."
