Telegram ( Last I remember sending a telegram was when I was about 8-9 years old and it was cheaper to send a telegram to wish a happy birthday to my grandfather than call him long distance on the phone. My parents were both Great Depression survivors and they were tight fisted with money. It was worth it for them to wait in line in order to save a few pesos. )
