The story behind that game is hilarious.
The guy who created it is a Chinese man who used to run a company that sold gold in the World of Warcraft. He decided he could make more money by creating a basic game with no frills that sells items and stuff in game, because there's always SOMEONE on the internet who will give you money.
A few gaming blogs wrote articles about Evony, and how it had a 'talent search' for models, or hired some models, and about this game's origins from a Gold Farming company for WoW, and how the game is basically a scam.
The Evony guy filed lawsuits against all the blogs for defamation, which obviously all went... nowhere.
